10gbit ports and wifi6-e make this device super versatile.

This is not half bad but also not future proof for higher multig connections. I was going to upgrade mymodem to a 2.5G but realized this router only has a 1G wan port. Although you can link aggregate up to 2 G with the WAN port and LAN 4 port that is 1G each so max speed is 2G input from your modem which also has to have at least 2 LAN ports capable of a 1G each. (with cat5e cables) but the new modem i wagoing to get was a Surfboard S33 and that only has either a 2.5G or a 1G LAN port but does not have LAG (Link aggregation group). So a 2.5 Gaming port on this Router is useless beyond 2G. Max you will ever get. So I recommend you get the one with a 10G WAN port for better future proofing. ASUSs UI for the router is very messy and confusing. Needs better organization. I would not get ASUS again but otherwise its still a very good modem. I have not yet experimented with the MESH options as i only have a 1330 SF home and I think it is not needed for such a small home.

I have read the other reviews and was hesitant to get this but my experience has been wonderful so far.

Customer service is stubborn, poorly trained, made a bunch of mistakes, and ultimately sent me a strange email where they said theyll get back to me in 24-48 hours. Currently unable to use equipment thats important to my business. Weak interface for making adjustments to the network and opening ports.

Bugs de interface aún existentes, las antenas se sienten frágiles , después de buscar mucho se logra activar el wifi 6, las redes de invitados son débiles.

Arrived with one antennae not working properly, just flops to horizontal, wont stay vertical, not impressed with Asus Quality control. Setup easy, good signal, my Galaxy s21 ultra drops from wifi6 to 5 when I go upstairs! Would have thought 6 would have had a better range than that, I dont live in a lighthouse so upstairs isnt far. Have been trying to set up my old Asus RT-AC5300 as a wifi mesh node, no luck yet, still working on it with Asus, an unprotected network ending in DWB appears which I am unable to add a password to!

Had expectations for this router when I bought it, but not only were the expectations not met, but the experience was worse than my old ASUS router.
