    Greater than one week

I have purchased two of these devices in the past 6 months. The first one would lock up and drop internet connectivity and the UI was not accessible resulting in a need to power cycle the device. I sent that one back to ASUS for replacement, none in stock so Im expecting a refund. Asus claims that this is a hardware issue.

Download speeds are fine, upload speeds are next to nothing. I forgot I have Wifi Calling set on my iPhone for years now, and the uploads speed were so bad my calls were all dropping.

Arrived with one antennae not working properly, just flops to horizontal, wont stay vertical, not impressed with Asus Quality control. Setup easy, good signal, my Galaxy s21 ultra drops from wifi6 to 5 when I go upstairs! Would have thought 6 would have had a better range than that, I dont live in a lighthouse so upstairs isnt far. Have been trying to set up my old Asus RT-AC5300 as a wifi mesh node, no luck yet, still working on it with Asus, an unprotected network ending in DWB appears which I am unable to add a password to!

I have a UNIFi dream machine pro SE and my google fiber directly connected to it. It would run circles around this router any day of the week. WiFi 6 is a waste if you dont have a lot of devices that actually use it. Just more radio congestion in your home network.

Update: 6/18/2022 - The router keeps disconnecting, every week, from the nodes/AiMesh ZenWiFi AX6600, it must be the Wi-Fi-6E. I stopped using it, and used the AiMesh of three AX6600 routers, connected via ethernet, and works great. Ill probably use AXE11000 in the future with other nodes with Wi-Fi 6E.

Compare to my own asus AC5300, AXE1600 has stronger signal and manage more than 14 devices connected. So far, all device of home appliances are connected well like wifi digital lock, roborock vacuum, karaoke system and etc

Man this thing is awesome. It’s just as fast as using an Ethernet cable. Although 6E has a shorter range than the 5ghz frequency. I paired this with an ROG Phone 5 and I’m gaming in BLAZING fast speeds. The 2.4 and 5 ghz have a pretty good range and cover everywhere I need. I like the software because of all the options related to gaming as well as info on what clients are connected.

Great product and works as intended. Wireless networks are setup separately and has easy and quick configurations to get you up and going quickly. Also I centrally located this and have wifi throughout entire 2 story home.
