> 3 dayMan this thing is awesome. It’s just as fast as using an Ethernet cable. Although 6E has a shorter range than the 5ghz frequency. I paired this with an ROG Phone 5 and I’m gaming in BLAZING fast speeds. The 2.4 and 5 ghz have a pretty good range and cover everywhere I need. I like the software because of all the options related to gaming as well as info on what clients are connected.

> 3 dayI did not buy for gaming just for signal strength and functionality. It is very good. It worked great for me, I live in an apartment with many wifi surrounding me (no conflicts). If you have the money and the space (easily 15 x 15 inch) - go for it.

> 3 dayI loved it but the AXE11000 does not have VPN mobile app settings. You have to go to your browser & log into the router to adjust VPN settings. Other ASUS routers that i have do have VPN mobile app settings. Other than that i recommend.

> 3 dayIts been over a month Since owning this router. Up until about two weeks ago It worked fantastically.i was reaching gigabytes speeds on my wifi connection. Now I can barely touch 300mbps. Ive gone through all the trouble shooting steps Ive completely factory reset the router and nothing seems to work.ive tried switching out the modem and that has not done the trick either.not sure what it could be but it looks like I need to call Asus for assistance which is a complete nightmare as described by others.

> 3 dayUpdate: the Wi-Fi is just not stable at all. It goes offline every 7-10 days, and now won’t even turn on after a power cycle. I had to power cycle a couple of times before it came on again. Very very very worried. This is NOT worth $500, read the warning online about this using an older chip, I guess it is that an rubbish heat distribution because this is super frustrating. Now this happens even after a weekly scheduled reboot, so I have no idea. Turned qos on and off, doesn’t make a difference. I am very very very concerned about ASUS quality. Not worth $500. Seriously, I cannot tell you how frustrating it is when it happens to a brand new expensive freaking router that I just want to throw out the freaking window!!!!

> 3 dayThis thing is huge! Right out the box downloads are above 900 mbps. The GUI has tons of options. It blew my Linksys AC3200 out of the water. Best download speed with my Linksys was about 500 mbps. I’m very happy!!

> 3 dayIt’s overkill (and expansive) for my personal usage but I particularly like the application to leverage the usb drive and reduce the ping for games. The wifi coverage is just amazing. The signal stay full bars everywhere in my cottage house and everywhere in the yard.
