Realmente es un excelente monitor, algo caro pero excelente. Los 144hz se notan y la calidad de imagen es bien nitida bastante satisfecho

Fantastic resultion and image quality. It integrates seamlessly with NVIDIAs 3d Vision platform and impresses the hell out of me. When you do set up the monitor, make sure that it is recognized as an ASUS VG248QE and not the actual LCD panels name. If that shows up, download the drivers from ASUSs website to ensure that the monitor is recognized. Two problems arose during operation though. First is the baddie; The power button sometimes refuses to turn on the monitor. It stays black. Im forced to power cycle the monitor via power cable, then the power button lights up and responds. This is an erratic issue and perhaps a design glitch. That entitled one star off with justification and thats being nice about it. The second is the adjustable height. At any time, do not have anything under the monitor or on the stand itself. If the monitor is presses down at the top, it will come down on top of anything that is on the stand and may damage either the item or the monitor itself! I put a big label on my stand that says KEEP THINGS OFF ME to remind me and anyone else not to wind up getting their stuff crunched. I nearly lost a good set of $300 computer reading glasses (titanium frame, thankyouverymuch) that way. It integrates in with an older Samsung quite well. Ive had to run the MS color calibration wizard a few times to get things right and I can barely tell the difference between the two. I run a 3D Matrix screen saver and at night it is very engrossing and addictive. If ASUS does takes note of the glitch with the power button, they can feel free to contact me directly so we can discuss and perhaps diagnose this headache.

Bought this to upgrade my monitors to 144hz turns out that you need to use the DVI ports to get this and not the HDMI. Its just advertised as a 144hz product description should mention that only the DVI ports get 144hz

If youre a gamer and youre looking for a monitor, dont look any further; from one gamer to another: buy this, you will not regret it. Dont gimp your high performance setup and expensive hardware with a 60Hz monitor. If youre running current top-end GPUs and pushing frame rates over 60 FPS, if your refresh rate doesnt match your frame rate, youre going to have issues. The biggest thing Id like to push is the fact this monitor is not only built for gamers, it also looks amazing, do not in any way be dissuaded by reviews stating this monitor looks horrible, or has bad color. The capability for adding 3D and Nvidia G-Sync is also a great option to have. Ive seen some reviews on various websites that state this monitor looks washed out and other such cons, but Ive seen no such issues. Out of the box stock settings admittedly look bad; however these are just OEM default settings. A few minutes spent in the menu tweaking contrast, brightness, color correction etc., gets this monitor looking absolutely gorgeous. Some people recommend downloading ICC color profiles and jumping through hoops to try and make this look good. Bottom line: it isnt necessary. If you want to follow one of those guides, download a color profile and do all that, its your choice. But honestly, in less than 5 minutes you can have this monitor adjusted to your liking and looking great on your own just by adjusting some menu options. I used a Envy 17-3D gaming laptop for years with HPs LCD-LED display, and this Asus blows it out of the water by a country mile. I cant understand why some people write bad reviews for an item without fully testing it out first, and at the very least adjusting menu options. I paid $250 for this, and for a monitor under 300 dollars, I couldnt be more impressed with the features, and the visual quality. This is a gaming monitor built with gamers in mind. The vast majority of bad reviews stating this is a monitor with bad visuals are from people wanting to compare a $250 TN panel meant for gaming with monitors not built for gaming and 3 times the price. This monitor boasts a 144Hz refresh, 1ms GTG lag, amazing contrast ratio, availability for G-Sync & 3D upgrades, Gameplus features built in and other gamer-centric features. Comparing this to IPS monitors with only 60 Hz refresh rates, 10+ms GTG, input lag and cost anywhere from $500 dollars to well over $1,000, is far from correct. On top of being an amazing gaming monitor that will show no ghosting, artifacting or screen tearing and built in features for gamers, for a TN panel monitor this looks amazing. In my opinion during routine everyday PC use, and for gaming, youll see no noticeable difference in color and visual performance with this TN panel than you will higher priced lower performance IPS monitors. Finding a monitor that does gaming well, as well as have great visuals is a hard find, but this does it and it does it for a great price. The 24 monitor is large enough that you get a great view, yet not so large you have to constantly move your head side to side to see everything, or have to sit far away from the monitor just to get it all in your field of view. It has a good solid base, and a bracket for cable management on the back of monitor. The monitor swivels, it tilts, it pivots, it has height adjustment and you can flip the monitor for either a page orientation of 16:9 widescreen or a portrait orientation. So no matter your setup or how you sit at your PC, this monitor can be set for maximum comfort and best viewing. ** IMPORTANT: First, be sure your GPU has a DisplayPort I/O so you are able to use a DP cable to connect this to your GPU if you want the full range of performance this monitor offers. *DO NOT USE* HDMI or DVI with this monitor! If you use HDMI or DVI with this screen, you will not be getting or seeing the performance you paid for. Neither HDMI nor DIV/DVI-D are capable of full HD at more than 60 FPS (60Hz). The majority of the reason for going with this monitor is the superior 144Hz refresh, 1ms GTG, and no discernible input lag. Thus allowing high FPS with no graphical issues. If you want to be able to use your monitor at 144Hz, if you want to be able to run 100+ FPS and not suffer blurring, ghosting, artifacting, or screen tearing, and you want the best viewing experience and performance, DisplayPort MUST be used. This monitor only comes packaged with a DVI-D cable and audio cable, and does not come packaged with a DisplayPort cable; so be sure to pick up a VESA certified DisplayPort along with this monitor.

This is based off using this for 2D Gaming. I wont be using this monitor for 3D gaming because I think its terrible. Pros: +144hz eliminates almost all motion blur in games. If you have the computer power to push them higher frames. +60hz vs 144hz is night and day. +Anti Glare Coating is super nice. Not grainy looking at all and keeps glares at bay. + I havent noticed any input lag at all in various games. +Price is right for this tech +I love the adjustable stand +Asus OSD is easy to navigate with good options to calibrate +Very easy to fine tune using Spyder 4 elite Negatives: - Very poor luminance uniformity. Spyder 4 showed 35% difference on upper left sector. - All 4 Asus monitors purchased in last 2 months all had stuck pixels. (Three pb278q returned with zero problems because Amazon is the best in the business) -Minor backlight bleed -Worst colors out of box I have ever seen. Spyder 4 elite made this look half way decent. -TN Panel, so poor colors compared to newer IPS/PLS Panels. Most these problems point to quality control IMO. UPDATE 1/26/2013: All TN panels look bad to me after buying a Asus pb278q which is a pls panel with amazing colors, so I am probably being a bit harsh when I say the colors are bad. But 60hz is just too slow for fast gaming. Where this panel really shines is first person shooters, barely any motion blur. 144fps in Battlefield 3 has helped my aim so much its not even funny. After playing at higher refresh rate, I cannot play on 60hz anymore, it looks terrible. Im raising this one star to 4/5 after gaming on it hardcore for last 24hrs. Would be 5/5 if not for the poor uniformity and stuck pixel. This panel will have to do tell the big companies make a 120hz IPS/PLS or Oled monitor but we wont see that in the near future because you would need so much graphic power to run 1440p at 120hz and get acceptable frames. My EVGA 690 cant even max out all eye candy in games like Farcy 3, Metro 2033, etc... and keep 120+fps constant on this vg248qe 1080p monitor.

Monitor is good, REALLY nice quality the 144hz is insane. I can somewhat notice the 1ms response time, the color is good once you calibrate it, Im not sure why people are complaining so much about the colors, make sure you turn down the brightness and read up on some calibration settings online. The problems I have with this monitor: I chose 2 day shipping and UPS was trying to make it 4 day shipping without my knowledge, I got it sorted out though. Another problem I have is that the sound is really almost nothing, its not useable for music/gaming, just things like steam notifications, which is still nice in a way and dont let this get in the way of you buying it. Theres nothing wrong with the monitor at all besides that sound problem that almost no one cares about. If you are looking into getting better at games like CS:GO, get it, it will make you better, but dont expect to get global with it ;). This is also REALLY useful for anyone who does twitch streaming, the quality is so nice and people will want to stay in your channel because your stream quality is going to be HIGHLY superior to those 60hz people (look at steel_tv). Also make sure to buy this over the BenQ one, this looks nicer in terms of how casual it looks on the exterior, yet still packed with all those features. The BenQ looks straight up neckbeard-like, hard to explain, but it just has so much emphasis on the GAMING part of the design. If you are thinking about getting this monitor, stop thinking, its one of the best you can get. EDIT: somehow the volume is fixed, not sure how, changed to 5 stars!

Note: My old monitor was a 24inch Samsung widscreen monitor with a 3000:1 contrast ratio. This is an absolute beautiful monitor! The colors are vibrant and everything looks so smooth and crisp. The first time I plugged it in I just started at my desktop background for a couple minutes, and then started browsing pictures on the internet. It was truly a whole new experience. My friend came over a couple days after I had installed it, and he was blown away too. Games, internet, movies, photos, all look amazing. Youre going to see a lot more detail that you missed before, even if you had a similar sized monitor. The 144hrz of the monitor means 144fps, compared with the conventional 60-75 hrz (60-75 fps). If you play the latest games, and are a huge gamer, you probably wont be able to notice a difference in framerate, since the target fps is around 40-60 with your video card. But if you play older games that support higher frame rates, or you play games at lower quality to get 100~ fps, then this will be a huge jump. MAKE SURE TO SET YOUR DISPLAY OPTIONS TO 144HRZ TO EXPERIENCE IT PROPERLY! One thing to note when handling the monitor: When tilting it 90 degrees, from landscape to portrait, If its too low you can scratch the pristine base. Make sure to lift up the monitor as high as possible before rotating it. I scratched mine sadly. :( If you want to do 3D, you are going to have to buy special Nvidia 3D glasses and youll need an Nvidia compatible video card. The glasses are around $50-$100, and the card could go well above $200. I already have the card, and I hope to buy the glasses soon.

Great budget monitor, I cant BELIEVE the difference this made. Just 2 problems Ive found; My Displayport, which is what u want to use to get the 144hz out of your GPU, was showing no signal, I would plug in to HDMI and it worked fine, I figured it was the my DP cable so I bought a new one. The new cable did not fix the problem, I thought it was the GPU, unplugged and went to onboard DP port, still no signal. So now Im thinking its the port on the monitor!! In a last ditch effort before contacting ASUS product support, I unplugged the power cable and held the power button down for 15sec, I plugged it back in and turned it on on the DP source and lo and BEHOLD its ALIVE! Take note of that process if youre contemplating a purchasing this item. Second, I play games on both PC and console, the PC looks flawless in HD no matter what frequency I run at (60,120,144hz), my PS4 on the other other hand, looks great but I can see red specs or red pixels floating around. I dont know what the deal is with that, but it doesnt do it on my other HD monitor (an older ALIENWARE). If youre buying this SOLELY to console game dont, If youre buying it to get more out of your GPU on PC its GREAT! I suggest upgrading the monitor before upgrading the GPU.

Since Amazon lumps multiple models together on one review list, and search results eliminate the section which identifies which model is being reviewed: This is for the ASUS VG248QE 24 Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz 1ms HDMI Gaming Monitor. It also has Display Port (DP) and DVI-D Dual Link (although I thought it is DVI-I Dual Link, but I dont want to unhook the cable to verify, so Ill go with the listing details). Last purchased Feb 2, 2014, Style: 24 FHD 1ms 144Hz Height Adjustable | Pattern Name: Gaming Monitor After owning this monitor for nearly NINE YEARS, I am still very pleased by it. Overall, there is a lot to like, and not much to dislike about this monitor. I primarily use it for gaming, working, and other typical computer use. The image is crisp, the colors are vivid, the blacks are deep, and can be made even deeper using ASCR, there is barely any backlight bleeding, ZERO dead pixels (no green, black, or bright pixels - nothing at all wrong with the image), fast 1ms response time, high 144hz refresh rate - there really is very much to like. (Other than something I did - my own fault - to slightly damage the surface with a sharp object one time about 7 years ago) the monitor is visually and cosmetically flawless. I only have two very small complaints after almost a decade of constant use: 1. The frame on the top is just barely starting to lift off the top in a short portion of the middle, and occasionally allows a bit of the backlight to shine through - but even this issue, I think, is going away after I have worked on pushing the frame back in place and it seems to no longer have the issue anymore. It might also have to do with temperature differences due to changing seasons resulting in slight expanding or contracting of the material. Really not a big deal, and almost not worth mentioning, but I want to give an honest, fair, and complete review. 2. The height adjustment has recently (within the last year or so - i.e. after about 8 years of use) started to lose its ability to hold the monitor at its position. However, this comes with three pertinent caveats: - First, my wife and daughter very often use my computer when I am away and move the monitor down, and then I have to move it back up when I get back, so it experiences a lot of wear and tear. - Second, I have my very heavy Logitech gaming headset conveniently hanging on the back of the monitor (because it has such a perfectly shaped section which, although probably not designed for this, perfectly holds my headset in place) which significantly adds to the overall weight of the monitor hanging on the height-adjustment mechanism. - Third, even with the problem existing, by moving the monitor to the desired position and holding it in place for a few moments, it will typically hold its position, even with the heavy headset hanging on the back. So, thats it. No other cons. I havent read many of the other reviews, but I did see something about color issues: this is fairly easily addressable via monitor settings, and if needed, Nvidia Control Center settings (or the equivalent AMD settings). Also, if you have any issues with Ghosting, I suggest adjusting your Trace Free setting to either 60 or 80. I advise not using 100, as that seems to overcorrect the issue and introduce inverse ghosting, if I recall correctly from previous testing. Setting it too low (i.e. 40 or below) doesnt seem to correct it enough, but it could work for some people. The only reason I am shopping around for another monitor at this point is because my wifes monitor (different brand/model) died and so I am giving her this monitor. Otherwise, I would plan to just keep using this monitor for years to come. I highly recommend buying this monitor.
