I was nervous about ordering this monitor from this company because a few of the reviews weren’t very good. But my son worked part time to save the money and this was the monitor he really wanted. This was one of the only places that had it. So I crossed my fingers and ordered it. It came on time- a day early in fact. It was in perfect condition and he is very happy with it. It seems to be a great monitor for the price. So far we have had no issues at all. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is definitely a great gaming monitor for consoles such as the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. However, its definitely worth noting that it only has a refresh rate of 60hz which doesnt do much good for PC gaming. While it may have been due to internet connection, I have noticed some drops at times when playing Ghost Recon Wildlands on Ultra and also Very High. You may want to spend the extra money for a monitor that has a refresh rate of 144hrz. Other than that, the picture quality is gorgeous. It upscaled my regular PS4 big time. Ive never seen such vivid colors and, when playing Wildlands on PS4, I noticed some details that werent there when playing on a 1080P tv. Definitely worth the money if youre a console gamer.

I bought this to replace a more expensive monitor the broke when just being moved to another room (didnt drop or bump it). I got this one cause it was more affordable and had good reviews, and didnt expect too much from it. Honestly though, I was very pleasantly surprised. Its good quality and seems really durable (which is a standard of Asus products). The screen settings had to be adjusted slight bit the clearity and sharpness is really good for a monitor of this price. I do graphic and web design work and this almost matched the $400 monitor it replaced. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a good monitor for a lower price.

They say it has HDMI and DP dual use, I used HDMI since I purchased it in May, worked fine. All of a sudden, last week it switched to 1080P only, and supports only answer is get DP, which my computer does not support. So no help from support at all, and no explanation of why it changed. Just replace HDMI with DP. So they are not very truthful about the dual support.

After a several month of use I am pretty satisfied with this monitor. I just needed a larger no frills monitor for coding and conferencing. My biggest complaint is that for a monitor with so many setting to protect your eyes from blue light, whenever my computer turns off or goes to suspend the screen goes completely, blindingly bright blue which defeats all the settings to protect your eyes, and your sleep. My second point of contention is its poor design. For such a large monitor there is only one VESA mount, and it is in a curved, circular recess (and used by the foot stand which you cant piggy-back on). You cant really mount a mini pc on the back which is so common these days even with an extension.

**09/01/2020 Edit** I switched my monitor from my Xbox to PC and the flickering continued during high graphic processing or when switching to graphics with high blacks or greys. Not often, but enough to distract. The picture is clear as day, colors are great, even for photo editing with minor setting adjustments. However, if you plan on gaming on Xbox OR PC, or if you get easily annoyed by a flicker during graphic/video work, you should probably look for another monitor until they fix the issue. Adjusting to 3 stars. Original 4 star review: 4.5/5 for picture and overall build quality 2.5/5 for console gaming 5/5 for daily computer use 3.5/5 for price 5/5 for packing and shipping Overall, this is a good 4k monitor display and I love using it for my PC. However, I originally bought this monitor for my Xbox One X (for 4K HDR) (also used it on my Xbox One S with the upscale 4K option), and I encountered a random flicker during gaming. I tried adjusting the display bit settings (TV & Display Options > Advanced > Video Fidelity & Overscan > Color Depth), which reduced the flicker significantly but not entirely. The random flicker was still there at least once per game, which can be frustrating in mid-battle situations. One thing I noticed when I looked through all of the display settings was that 4K UHD/HDR was not active and not able to be selected as an option with this monitor, which was very disappointing. The picture quality is VERY crisp, and the response time is fantastic, but for a $300 investment, Id recommend buying a different monitor for console gaming considering this Asus flickers (which other reviewers have noted) and also lacks HDR. You can also see a minimal, (insignificant, to me) light leak on the right side of my monitor. This is monitor-specific, so some might have it while others dont. Additional thoughts: I included a picture of the menu button, which took some getting used to, but I actually prefer/enjoy adjusting the settings with it now (compared to my other monitors, a different Asus and a BenQ). The monitor does not have speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm output. The monitor is lightweight, VESA mount compatible, and the frame/bevel is minimal and sleek. My monitor arrived well-packed, and came with additional HDMI cables, which is always appreciated.

I got this monitor to connect to my MacBook while working at my desk. I dont do gaming so I cant comment on this as a gaming monitor but for productivity it has worked out really well. Other reviews have said that there are clarity and picture quality issues but I have seen no issue what so ever at this point. The picture is clear and sharp at 4k 60Hz. The color is good and has plenty of brightness. I do some picture editing and this monitor is working well for those functions. Overall recommended.

(Update A year later) I think the engineers who created the navigation interface on this monitor may be dumb enough to qualify for government assistance. You normally cant turn this monitor off unless there is a signal coming in from the computer. With some operating systems, locking the screen immediately shuts off the video signal rendering this monitor incapable of being shut off until you wake up the computer and wait for the monitor to realize there is a signal. Something that should be quick is now an entire order of events that can take you 10+ seconds as the operator to wait for everything to occur just so you can access the turn off power function. Over time, this is costly. If you dont value your time, this may be a good monitor for you. I have been using this for a month with positive results. As long as you only have one powered computer connected to the monitor at a time, it is a fine monitor. BUT, if you connect a second computer this thing will make you want to throw a brick through it. It has a setting to choose which input you want to view. But it behaves like a mentally disabled child who thinks it knows better than you and switches away from the input you want to be viewing. This means if your computer switches video modes, hasnt come up yet, .... you are likely to be viewing another input you didnt want to see. And the other benefit (sarcasm) of this monitor is its fantastic (sarcasm) single button directional interface. You get to navigate the multi step menu each time this child thinks it knows which monitor you want to view. And if you arent frustrated yet, the menu system seems to be or become inaccessible when the monitor cant lock onto any input or the input changes on its own. So if you are in the middle of working with the one button menu system and the monitor thinks it needs to automatically do something for you, it will take down the menu letting you start over. And you can only start over if the monitor is in a state where it will permit the menu to launch. You would think that would be powered on. But no, it seems like it has to have a proper video connection before you can use it. If you are trying to figure out what is happening in certain circumstances, you will ultimately find it best to physically disconnect all other inputs. As mentioned before, as long as you dont use it with 2 powered computers, the monitor should work fine for you.
