Greater than one weekThe monitor has been working well for about a year, the display looks good, but I’m not playing games or editing photos so I’m not a good source for a critical review. What I find annoying is the screen saver. I’ve been unable to find any way to change the period before it goes to sleep or to disable it. You have to push a button on the back of the monitor to wake it up. If it’s in sleep mode and you want to turn it off, you have to push the button, wait for it to wake up, and then slide button to turn it off. LAME!

Greater than one weekGreat picture quality, settings and options. Have been using for about 3-4 months now and have had close to no issues except one minor one. The issue I’ve been having very intermittently (doesn’t affect my game at all usually) is that the screen flickers every once in a while when using FreeSync. I’m assuming this is just because the Xbox and Monitor aren’t syncing frame rates but I’m not very technical with the FreeSync and monitor technologies. It does the job, and well for the price. The flickering isn’t a big issue (it doesn’t even happen every day and when it does it’s for like a few seconds only usually) This is a great monitor option for those looking for a cheap 4K, low response time monitor for console gaming.

Greater than one weekI saw some negative reviews and was hesitant on this monitor, but I was reassured when I found an old post on proper calibration. This monitor is amazing for the price. The only downfall is that it maxes out at 60hz, so its not ideal for competitive gaming. Single-player games look amazing at 4k, and 60hz is fine because you wont be getting much more than 60 fps with such high settings. If you want a monitor for single-player games or have a console, then honestly, this is the best bang for your buck.

Greater than one weekI have had this monitor for 16 months now and it has lived up to my expectations in every way. The picture is sharp and clear and the colors are vibrant. Not a gamer, so over-top specs were not was I was looking for. I needed a good general purpose monitor that would be suitable for watching sports too. I having been planning to update my graphics card (like so many for us) but still using my old Nvidia GTX1060, which is not quite up to the mark for MSFS 2020. Even so, this monitor displays great scenery. If you are looking for a good solid monitor that will serve you well for years, I highly recommend this monitor.

> 3 dayI like that it has 1 DP and 2 HDMI ports. I have two laptops connected to it. I still have some problems with my new Dell XPS 15 7590 laptop on HDMI. The issue is, my laptop does not connect to the monitor on HDMI unless I force a reset by changing the refresh from 60HZ to 59. I have to go into the Display Settings, then the Advanced display settings for the monitors HDMI connection and change the refresh rate several times. I havent had this issue with the DP connection. I dont know if the issue is the laptop or the monitor. It is hard finding information. I thought it may be driver issues, but theyve been updated. I mainly use the laptop for huge spreadsheets or Visio drawings from one laptop, or YouTube and games on the other. I dont use any audio, just video and the monitor has been great.

> 3 dayI would have rated this as a four stars for the viewing angles, but its just so cheap that it deserves all five stars. I have bought two and both arrived without any dead pixels and are in working condition. I would recommend this entry 4k monitor. Pros: -Dirt Cheap 28 4k -Great as an auxiliary monitor. -VESA mounting, vertically mounted works great with considerations for viewing angles. Cons: -Horrible viewing angles: Viewing angles are as follow. The angles are approximate. ~~Below: 30° angle or more fades or strong black overtones. ~~Above: 160° angle or more fades out a bit, but not even close to below viewing. This is reasonable and acceptable. ~~Sides: It may also fade out a small bit, but looks great from most of 180° angle. -Larger, thick monitor with wide bezels.

> 3 dayNote: I am receiving a Warranty Extension from ASUS for this review. This monitor is exactly what I hoped for from a Resolution standpoint. Adding it to my 5K iMac provides a significant improvement over my previous cheap monitor. The price was right and the capabilities for changing to meet my needs are easy. The only drawback is that it will NOT come out of sleep when my iMac wakes up. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on in order for it to receive a signal.

> 3 dayThis monitor works perfectly with my new iMac Mini and the picture is fantastic. It connected easily, recognized by my Mac easily, and the only knock is lack of instructions for an easy way to wake and to turn off and on the monitor. That button seems non sturdy. Only time will tell I guess. But so far, works as expected.
