ASUS VP28UQG 28 4K/UHD 3840x2160 1ms DP HDMI Adaptive Sync/FreeSync Eye Care Monitor

So far the only largest complaint Ive had and the reason I dont give it five stars is that dang button configuration on the back. Its not absolutely terrible but definitely not intuitive and the power off feature is not at all what it could be. Other than that this monitor has been quite great. No other complaints. Cheaper 4k monitor that doesnt noticeably ghost compared to my other Sceptre monitor. I have had this monitor more than a Month without any real issues.

Spectacular monitor for gaming. Bought it originally for the purpose of PS4 gaming. The refresh is way better than my TV. The picture quality is outstanding. The brightness is perfect. My eyes dont get as tired with it either. The setup needs a tad work out of box but it took only a day for me to figure what was best. Highly recommend this monitor. Tried it for PC as well and doesnt disappoint but especially amazing for console gaming if you want something smaller than a 45 4k TV.

Reviewing the ASUS 29 Ultrawide Monitor... I have spent weeks researching the perfect monitor to upgrade my home studios needs. I do light gaming, audio recording and production, video editing, and image rendering. I recently upgraded a 10-year old PC with a new 600W power supply, SSD primary drive, and an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti GPU. I needed a monitor that was large, fast, crisp, and true in color. I also needed something that is affordable, physically adjustable, and well-constructed. In short, this product nailed every single one of my needs. I detect no pixel walking, backlight IPS glow, or system incompatibility. I have always trusted ASUS products, and this monitor fully lived up to my expectations. The price point was almost, suspiciously, too good to be true, but so far so good...

The monitor has been working well for about a year, the display looks good, but I’m not playing games or editing photos so I’m not a good source for a critical review. What I find annoying is the screen saver. I’ve been unable to find any way to change the period before it goes to sleep or to disable it. You have to push a button on the back of the monitor to wake it up. If it’s in sleep mode and you want to turn it off, you have to push the button, wait for it to wake up, and then slide button to turn it off. LAME!

I mean it’s on the lower cheap end for 4k monitors, it’s got solid Picture quality, the response time is okay, it’s a solid budget monitor hardest thing is tuning the settings.

They say it has HDMI and DP dual use, I used HDMI since I purchased it in May, worked fine. All of a sudden, last week it switched to 1080P only, and supports only answer is get DP, which my computer does not support. So no help from support at all, and no explanation of why it changed. Just replace HDMI with DP. So they are not very truthful about the dual support.

Pairs nice with ps 5 as a stand alone game center.

From the looks of the box packaging and no protective films on monitor and broken base stand notch to hold the monitor, i am pretty sure i received a monitor someone ordered tried and returned. I was on a call with amazon customer service with not much support to go for it.. no replacement offered . .guess out of stock .. choose another monitor and return was the option .. which i didnt have to be on the call for i guess.. duh.... !!! I am desperate as school year has started and i am in no mood to do the research in getting another monitor . call me lazy or impatience whatever.. but the fact is in the end its not helping me as a customer receiving items as hand me downs as even though it is for a day or a month.. I might as well like to claim a discount for it in that case. which i didnt claim or was offered .. I guess will stop my ranting at that for the amazon customer service as far as the product goes.. Core functionalities look good.. nice resolution. good presets . blue level filters. perfect dimensions for monitor .. have couple of ultra wide monitors ... i like this better instead.
