ASUS ZenWiFi Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System (ET8 2PK), Coverage up to 5,500 sq.ft & 6+Rooms, 6600Mbps, New 6GHz Band, AiMesh,Instant Guard

I fully regret this purchase and will be replacing it outside of the Amazon return window. There are two positives about this device: the WIFI coverage is great and the web-based settings are very easy to use.

Ive had this mesh setup for a month and a half, and one of the nodes has already died. Havent had a chance to contact customer support yet, will update when I do.

Sets up easily, offers bluetooth and app. WIFI 6 and mesh tech seem to distribute signal better throughout our older home and plaster walls.

I have had the router since December 2022, so approximately 3 months. During that time we have experienced near daily disconnections of all WIFI devices from the WAN connection. WIFI devices are able to connect to the network, but lose all access to the internet through it. Wired connections are completely unaffected.

Awesome Router. Easy to setup. Two pack covers my 3800 square foot home easily.

Worked fine for 6.5 months, then stopped. I tried to get ahold of ASUS customer service with no luck. Terrible service.

Excelente estabilidad y velocidad de la conexión

Compré recientemente este producto (Asus Zenwifi ET8) ya que en algunas reseñas lo califican con 5 estrellas. Es cierto que también hay reseñas con bajas calificaciones, pero en el papel me pareció que las características del producto son muy buenas, y también creo que Asus tiene muchos años fabricando routers, así que pensé que debía ser un excelente producto.

I really, really wanted to like this mesh system. When they worked properly I got the best wifi speeds Ive ever seen. However, it was much more common for me to see IoT devices disconnecting, periods of no internet on other devices (smartphone, laptop, smart tv) and other annoyances with restarts and signal issues. Not to mention ASUS hasnt issued a firmware update since this hardware was released. Ill wait until Wifi 6E matures and the offerings become better before dipping my toes back into it. My Orbi system worked great and I will be going back to it.

I love the speed and the coverage with this router and mesh node. The challenge has been older 2.4G equipment (amazon echos, amazon plugs, amazon firesticks, HUE lights/bridge, HP wireless printer, etc...). For some of the devices I was able to create a 2.4G guest network and add them to that. Something about a shared SSID across 2/5/6 G did not work for the older equipment. My old HP OfficeJet 8610 printer could see the networks but just would not connect. Luckily for me the printer is very close to the router so I was able to fix the issue by just using a CAT5 cable.
