> 3 dayI have a 50+ foot long home with the base internet on one side and was getting weak signals far away from base router. I have 300/300 Bis service, and near the base router I can exceed that. At the far end of the house 100/50 approximately 30 feet and 2 walls away from the node which is good a enough to stream 1080p video several times over. Note some devices I needed to bind to the base router so it would connect to the stronger signal.

> 3 dayOn paper the feature set is great, but I have had consistent issues with this router. Devices just lose connection to the internet, particularly if they are connected to the satellite.

> 3 dayThought I was in the clear when I first purchased the ET8 mesh setup, after having a lot of issues with our previous Linksys mesh setup. I was wrong. Our ET8 node bricked itself less than 2 months out of the box. ASUS RMA process leaves a lot to be desired. Pretty ridiculous that they wouldnt immediately send out a new unit to replace my faulty node, but thats ASUS for you. Ill update this review if ASUS goes above and beyond to make me happy, but so far Im not impressed with the quality of these units or the customer service provided by the manufacturer. Recommend avoiding the ET8 if youre looking for reliability - unless 2 months of uptime is acceptable to you.

Greater than one weekWould not work. Customer service wanted me to send it in for repair on a brand new product. I dont believe I will be looking at any of their products in the future.

Greater than one weekI love the speed and the coverage with this router and mesh node. The challenge has been older 2.4G equipment (amazon echos, amazon plugs, amazon firesticks, HUE lights/bridge, HP wireless printer, etc...). For some of the devices I was able to create a 2.4G guest network and add them to that. Something about a shared SSID across 2/5/6 G did not work for the older equipment. My old HP OfficeJet 8610 printer could see the networks but just would not connect. Luckily for me the printer is very close to the router so I was able to fix the issue by just using a CAT5 cable.

> 3 dayThis was my second try at a Mesh WiFi 6 router. The setup took about 5 mins. You have to set the satellites close to each other at first, which seem a little odd but you can move them where you like after that. It has a dedicated mesh 2.4/5 GHz mesh WiFi 6 system that works great. I pay for 200 Mbps and I get it. My first try was the night hawk from net gear and the speeds were up and down. I check my speeds at that the source, and it is consistent with phone app. You also can get up to six guest networks and assign them to the 2.4 or the 5 GHz channel. This is very nice if you have older camaras or devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz channel. The mesh system is designed to switch automatically, depending on where you are, not good for older device that only run on 2/4 GHz. The guest networks can be assigned. The parent control features are outstanding if you have kids. App is ok but there is no help to better understand the details on the screens. I prefer the computer interface, which is easier to navigate. I called the help line, and they were quick to respond and helpful with my technical questions. Once it is set up, you are done. I would recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have had this unit since March 2022. It started rebooting for no reason sporadically. I opened a case with Asus and they said I needed to ship the unit to their repair shop and wait for them to fix and return it. They apologized for the inconviniounce of no internet for at least a week.

> 3 dayNode constantly drops. It doesn’t provide a consistent network connection. When it works it’s great. But often I have to either restart or unplug n plug back in. The node constantly drops. My 7 yr old TP Link was a lot more reliable than this. Disappointing for such expensive devices.
