ASUS ZenWiFi Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System (ET8 2PK), Coverage up to 5,500 sq.ft & 6+Rooms, 6600Mbps, New 6GHz Band, AiMesh,Instant Guard

Have called Asus support twice now. First time they got it working again, but now we cant even log into the IP URL. They asked me to send it in since it is under warranty, but then im without wifi for two weeks. So i would rather just buy a working router and get a refund, but amazon doesn’t seem to want to.

I added these two to an existing Asus RT82U to my 35-year old three-story 3500 sq ft house. I put the main unit on the first-floor and each of the Zen units in the basement and 2nd floor. Coverage and speeds have been consistently good, and the Wi-Fi 6 works perfectly on the 3 devices that currently support it. For the price and ease of use, these are perfect.

When it worked, it was great. Super fast, good signal strength, all the things... Even a great mobile app (I think so anyway).

I moved into a new tri-level 5000 sq foot home and purchased this mesh system as I read that it should be the latest and greatest system. I had the google nest system in my previous home and loved it. I have fought the following issues:

I invested in these, they wouldn’t operate as mesh constantly dropping signal. I returned and same issues. ASUS sent new ones. Same issues. I returned a total of 12 units I think. Horrible customer service and communications. (6) months of unstable WiFi

First I wrote a quite negative review but I was able to figure out something. This thing works! But not in all cases. I have a few support open with ASUS and there are some problems with the firmware. And some are quite serious problems.

My experience with this router has been terrible. I have two ET8 nodes connected via wired backhaul. All my devices have had problems with random disconnects since the beginning. I should’ve just returned this right away. Now I’m on the phone trying to get tech support and no help in sight. If this weren’t so expensive, I would just throw it away and get another mesh router from another company.

We were so happy when our new router connected so easily! Literally, plug and play!

Asus zenwifi et8 Best mesh Wi-Fi 6e .My device support wifi 6e.Speed is incredible around 970mbps.Best on the market.

7/25/2022 Last Update: I finally received a refund it been months and months of following up and hours of time spent. Their customer service is not the best.
