Greater than one weekAfter 5 months of owning this router I had to request and RMA as one of the router suddenly stopped working. Setting up the RMA was a nightmare as their reps. Additionally you have to ship both routers in for a repair even though only one is not working. I paid a premium for cheap service. I have done RMAs many times with Epson, Denon, Netgear, and Samsung throughout the years an nothing compares to the abysmal service ASUS provides.

16-04-2025Update 4/9/23.. I would love to get rid of this trash but they lost so much value that its not even worth selling them.. Noone wants it. Nothing less than a scam.

Greater than one weekI purchased an Asus Zen WiFi ET8 (AXE6600 Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6E System) and an Asus RP-AX56 Extender. Using the Asus Router Mobile APP, I installed both the router and extender. I installed the extender as an AiMesh node to the Asus Zen Router. Installation was a breeze using the mobile APP. The router (primary node) is installed in a back bedroom with node #2 (second ET8 unit in 2 unit set) installed in the kitchen and the RP-AX56 (3rd node) is installed in a front bedroom. This system has definitely improved my WiFi signal. Buffering has been totally eliminated. I am writing this on day 3 since the installation. The system has worked flawlessly. So far, I am extremely pleased with these Asus products.

17-04-2025Sets up easily, offers bluetooth and app. WIFI 6 and mesh tech seem to distribute signal better throughout our older home and plaster walls.

> 3 dayIt’s fast, I’ll give you that. But this product seems more trouble than it’s worth, as numerous devices on the network seem to randomly fail and need rebooting or more. Would not recommend.

Greater than one weekI bought this highly rated router and 7 months later I did a factor reset and turned it into a brick. That was not the worst part - the worst part is ASUS customer service!

> 3 dayI wanted to upgrade to 6E and I really liked the feature list on the Asus. I have my two ET8s paired with a ROG GT-AXE11000 functioning as the router with the two ET8s as the satellites.

> 3 dayI did play around a bit with the location of the 2nd mesh router, but once optimized, it worked amazingly.

> 3 dayWe have the two unit system. For my house at 3k sqft I will need 4 of the bases but I really dont want to spend their asking price. We often get dropped Internet and speeds at less than 1 mbp on the same floor. We have fiber pushing 780+ gigabit. So where did the other 779 gigabits go?
