05-06-2025Very easy with app..strong performance no troubles yet..had it about 3 weeks now..thinking of getting the et12 6e single..to use as base router and et8s as the satellites! Asus aimesh systems will work even if different models.

> 3 dayThe good; Tech Support tried, I will give them that, Setup a Cat-6 as a dedicated backbone between the two units with 50 feet of each other, when it worked it was nice and fast Wifi 6e at 1.2/1.4 Gb/s. HOWEVER, when your spouse, working children, and your own WebEX/Zoom/etc and work from home connections FALL OFF every 15 to 30 minutes, you find out this was engineered for bleeding edge gamers willing to accept the drops. NOT recommended, we work, we do not game, it was the most expensive AND worst experience for work from home. IT engineer telling you to just use a single Wifi 6 router not this!!

> 3 dayThe router is connected to an ATT 2 GB fiber connection in an IP pass-through configuration on the ground floor of a 2500 sq ft home. I have wireless connectivity only if I configure the backhaul in other than the preferred Wi-Fi 6E config. Speed is good on the other floors but it will not connect reliably.

06-06-2025This could be such an awesome product. Like many I suffer from the constant wifi dropouts and node failures. I have mine set up with ethernet backhaul and still lose the node regularly. I wish Asus would fix this as its been an issue for years. When it works, its great. But its just not that reliable.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a first gen eero system in order to take advantage of the tri-band ax. Right now, Im using the 6GHz wireless for dedicated backhaul, eventually planning to hardwire it after moving in ~ 6 months. Not sure its going to make it that long:

> 3 dayIn my experience, the mobile app yield better results when connecting the mesh network for initial setup. For some reason when using a pc, it kept stalling trying to find the node. Only have two computers at home that can use the wifi 6e option, but I bought these so I can have a better connection between my pc and the other appliances that use wifi (12 in total). I dont get slow down spikes when random things being to download around the house anymore.

> 3 dayI had a T-Mobile branded Asus router and it worked great for years. It was solid with a very good user interface. I would rarely lose connection with that router.

> 3 dayI bought this highly rated router and 7 months later I did a factor reset and turned it into a brick. That was not the worst part - the worst part is ASUS customer service!
