I recently purchased a laptop computer screen and received it within a week. I was able to easily install it myself and it looks good so far. One pixel must be out on it because there is a tiny black dot in one place on it. Hopefully that doesnt mean it will easily get worse.

MY LAPTOP IS ACER 5740-5513 AND THE SCREEN IS AUO 156XW02 V.0 . I THINK THIS REPLACEMENT SCREEN IS COMPATIBLE. THE SCREEN IS DELIVERED FAST AND LOOKS SAME AS THE BROKEN SCREEN BUT IS LG BRAND. AFTER INSTALLED , IT IS WORKING GOOD. IM VERY SATISFIED WITH IT.

I ordered this screen to replaced a cracked one in a Gatetway laptop. First things first, take the time to remove the old screen and get the numbers off the back so that you can make sure the one you order is the exact match, as there can be multiple screen types for the same model of laptop. Secondly, these screens are delicate until they are mounted in the support frame, so be careful, I can see how it would be very easy to damage a new screen. Thirdly, be careful when removing the sticky tape that covers the connector, its so sticky its almost like clear duct tape, and it would be very easy to damage the connector beyond repair, so gently peel it back around the edges as you will be reusing it. And the last warning, when you power the unit up it very normal for the bios screens to look ok but the opening windows screen to look completely messed up, but dont panic! Just restart the laptop in vga mode, windows will detect the new screen, and all will be good. All in all, highly recommended.

This product is a virtual replica of my laptops original screen! There are no dead pixels or other problems. The screen arrived in great condition, sealed and protected. All I did was plug in the connector and it worked! The only small defect I noticed is that the screen itself is tilted ever-so-slightly to the right. This is barely noticable, and can probably be fixed by adjusting the metal holders on the laptop itself. Overall I am still very satisfied! To all of those afraid to D.I.Y.: I highly recommend replacing a screen like this yourself! Despite what others may say it takes 10-15 minutes max from start to finish. You can save $100 or more by not paying somebody else to install it! You dont need to know anything technical; just have a phillips-head screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver or small razor. A video of this process can be seen here: [...] Put simply: 1) Remove the small rubber or plastic coverings around the edge of the screen. 2) Unscrew the screws below those coverings. 3) Gently pry apart the panel in front of the screen from the rear laptop lid. 4) Remove the screws holding the screen in place. 5) Remove the broken screen and disconnect the wire plugged into the screen. 6) Plug the new screen into that wire. Do the opposite of Steps 4 to 1 and youre done! Hope this helps! (My laptop is a Gateway NV57)

I recommend this screen to anyone who needs an Acer replacement screen. I had to replace my original screen because i cracked it while pressing it in to stop it from flickering. It was very, very easy to install, and works just like the original screen. TWO THUMBS UP......

Dell n5030 is not exactly a please to work with, but the screen quality and the packaging were perfect. Amazon is the only place where I can safely order fragile tech items.

This product was exactly what it was advertised to be. it went in just as easily as the old one came out. The order was filled in decent time (about 3 days), but I was expecting 7 working days, so that was a benefit for me. Packaging was more than adequate. Overall I would give a 2 thumbs up for this company

My DIL dropped the laptop I bought her and broke the screen. Waily Waily ~ She thought it was gone forever, but since I am a retired Computer Field Service Engineer she gave it to me to resuscitate. I found a video on You Tube showing how to easily and carefully make the replacement. I was able to remove the bad Screen; get the part number off the back; then order this from Amazon for about $60. It came well packed and as ordered. The install was again easy and the results are a perfectly running Laptop just like NEW. $60 is way cheaper than a new Laptop these days. I am very pleased.

I bought this for a family members Acer Aspire 5552 who also had a broken keyboard at the same time. The picture looks great better than the original. This is the newer version v.6 so do not worry if yours is older it will still work just fine. To change the display it does not take long for a person that can handle a screw driver and can be gentle. Anyone can do this just dont rush what you are doing, if you have never done one before, spend the time on the internet & youtube showing you how. The process for a average person takes 30mins but it if take you longer that is ok too. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a replacement display for their laptop! This item arrived quickly, came in excellent shape and you dont want to spend a lot of money.
