at the bottom of the description it says or compatible substitute which is what i got. i put it in and it works fine, had a couple dead pixels but nothing really noticable. delivered even on vetrans day hoah. color seems a tiny bit off but that could be because im used to seeing it on a flat screen tv, not a bad screen at all though

ASUS A52F laptop started showing vertical lines all along the screen. Theyd sometimes shift slightly if you touch the screen. I eliminated the possibility of a graphic card defect by connecting the laptop to a TV via HDMI: the picture was normal. Also, to verify that its not the ribbon connector, I moved the lid up and down and watched for any artifacts on the screen: nothing. So, it had to have been the screen. I took the lid assembly apart per instructions on YouTube and copied the model number off the back. I was very skeptical. Once the new screen arrived, I noticed that the part number was slightly different and the green PCB board near the bottom of the screen was a bit shorter than on the original. Nevertheless, the plug fit and I booted it back up. It works! It looks no different than the old screen when it used to work. Very happy.

Kids broke my laptop screen. New screen was easy to install and works great. It has one pixel that stays on, but since the other places we looked all said that their screens would have 4 or 5 bad pixels, this is great. Thanks for the great product.

I replaced Toshiba laptop screen with this as this was the cheapest screen available on amazon. I checked the model number on the original screen and searched for the same model screen and this AU Optronics came up. Checked the wires side and made sure that the resolution, screen type, and screen size is correct. Placed the order, received it in two days and I got my Laptop back up and running in two days :). I am so happy.

After our 2 year old Laptop durability inspector climbed up onto our dining room table and closed the laptop and jumped up and down on top of it the screen was surprisingly cracked. Who would have thought that you cannot jump up and down on a laptop screen without breaking it? Anyway I found this replacement screen on Amazon and it arrived 3 days after I ordered. Great quality, easy to install and its actually brighter and clearer that the OEM screen. Very satisfied with everything about this product. Highly recommend, $65.00 is WAY cheaper than buying a new laptop.

I don’t care much for screen quality so skip this review if you’re looking for that. It was good enough for me. What surprised me is the fact that I was able to use this as a replacement for a completely different version of the screen. The connector was on the left side as it needed to be and it fit perfectly, the screw holes even lined up with the frame. Good product, but I hope I never have to buy one again, nothing personal :P

So our original laptop monitor cracked when it fell off the couch. At first we freaked out because we thought wed have to get a new laptop, but then I did some research and found I could replace the monitor. We have a Gateway Laptop NV53, and when I popped the monitor out it was a B156XW02 V.2. Looked it up on amazon, ordered it, swapped it with my busted one, and it worked like a charm!

Mine was NOT an OEM match for the original made by AU Optronics. I had no issue with this as long as it fit and works. The replacement I received fit very well and brightness is the same as the original. It was manufactured by LG. This was NOT my first purchase of a replacement screen. The other I purchased from another vendor fit and worked but brightness, gamma and clarity of picture were all so poor I returned it as electronically damaged. So although many laptops are difficult to replace the screen in, DONT ACCEPT POOR QUALITY. Maybe I was a bit hasty in my praise. It is now 6/2022. Suddenly and without cause my screen completely scrambled with pastel colored hash marks. Until today had NO issues with it at all. Long and short of it discovered pressing on the super micro thin PC board fixes the issue. Looks like it may have cracked or one or more components not properly soldered. This seller offers NO extended warranty of any kind on AU Optics displays. Looks like Ill be trying yet another brand.

My son managed to drop his laptop and crack the screen, we were told it would cost about $250 to have repaired. I picked up this screen for $58, it arrived quickly, very well packed and in excellent condition. Installation was a breeze, I crossed my fingers, powered up the laptop and we were back in business.
