Installing in a HP G62, the screen works. At first it seems like it might even be an improvement over the old screen but within 15 seconds I knew that the viewing angles are very poor on this monitor. That means that you have to have the monitor angle set to your eyes extremely precisely and even adjusting in your chair will make it change in appearance. If you use your computer for photos, Picasa, or even playing videos on the internet, this is not ideal. All that said, I may be able to get some more miles out of my laptop before I have to get a new one. Manufacturers should really include the viewing angles in the specifications. Im satisfied enough not to return the unit but I feel this important enough to mention so that consumers can make their own decision. No dead or stuck pixels that I can see. One final note, the original panel was an LG, so that might be the one to replace. The original on my G62 had another problem - very poor dynamic range so pick your poison.

After accidentally impacting my husbands Dell laptop screen, I hurried online to replace it before it was missed. Google the product number, come on Amazon and presto! A replacement screen for a fraction of the cost! To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first, considering the low price, however not only did it arrive weeks ahead of the estimated delivery but was in perfect condition. The company had packed the screen in Styrofoam and so much tape, it took me longer to unwrap it than it did to install it! The screen installed easily (4 screws, 3 minutes) and works beautifully- clear pictures, no scratches or uneven colors. I prefer the replacement screens matte finish to the factory gloss; itll be so much easier to clean! All in all, a VERY satisfied customer =)

Received the screen, installed it. Laptop ran for about 2 minutes before the backlight went out and now it wont boot at all. To clarify, its not that the display doesnt turn on, the device will no longer post.

After our 2 year old Laptop durability inspector climbed up onto our dining room table and closed the laptop and jumped up and down on top of it the screen was surprisingly cracked. Who would have thought that you cannot jump up and down on a laptop screen without breaking it? Anyway I found this replacement screen on Amazon and it arrived 3 days after I ordered. Great quality, easy to install and its actually brighter and clearer that the OEM screen. Very satisfied with everything about this product. Highly recommend, $65.00 is WAY cheaper than buying a new laptop.

I would order from them again. Saved myself from replacing my laptop to just replacing the screen. Was really easy to change too! I did have to wait about a week for it to arrive that was the only downside.... I had super savig shipping so that might be why.

My Toshiba laptop originally had the V.2, and this seems to be an overall improvement. The color appears to be more vivid, and the circuit board on the back is batter protected. It installed with no issues and is working great. Some folks have complained that the viewing angle isnt wide enough on this monitor, and while that is true I dont remember the original being particularly great in that respect, so at least it does not seem to be a downgrade from the original. Packaging was great as well and there is no way that this thing would have been damaged by the shipping. Overall Im quite happy with the purchase, and would buy it again if I needed to replace another monitor (hopefully I wont!)

Arrived yesterday and I was able to fix my laptop in about fifteen minutes. Screen was well packaged and came in perfect condition. Looks just as good as my old laptop screen if not better. It says screen is either matte or glossy based on availability. I got a glossy.

My daughters laptop screen started failing while she was away at college, I ordered this replacement screen while she was home for the spring break. It arrived quickly, and after watching a couple of on-line videos, this was a quick and was fix. But I will admit I was a bit nervous that I may damage something and make things worse.
