It seems like a crapshoot when you purchase a replacement screen for your laptop. I checked and confirmed this was the right model but wasnt completely sure it would work. Got it connected and it started up fine. Make sure you secure the connector on the back before putting your laptop back together. For the price, it is hard to beat. The replacement process is quite simple and there are a lot of youtube tutorials on how to do it- usually for your specific laptop model as well. Definitely a wiser investment than purchasing a new laptop!

My daughters laptop screen started failing while she was away at college, I ordered this replacement screen while she was home for the spring break. It arrived quickly, and after watching a couple of on-line videos, this was a quick and was fix. But I will admit I was a bit nervous that I may damage something and make things worse. Just take your time, and it will go fine. Its been several weeks now since the repair, and the screen is still working as good as new.

I just got the screen and I replaced it. Everything seems find except I dont know why there is a letter A with red appears in the left corner of the screen its kinda big and its bothering me.So, I returned it back!

Replace the screen on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. The screen looks as good if not better than the original did and was very easy to install. I would highly recommend this screen if it fits your laptopx

Replaced my broken Acer screen. Installation is easy and depends on your own skill of opening the laptop up without damaging too many latches. I broke some latches but still able to put everything enclosed secure. It might be better than the original screen on the viewing angle side. There are many options I can choose. I just happened to use this one. It works.

I ordered this screen to replaced a cracked one in a Gatetway laptop. First things first, take the time to remove the old screen and get the numbers off the back so that you can make sure the one you order is the exact match, as there can be multiple screen types for the same model of laptop. Secondly, these screens are delicate until they are mounted in the support frame, so be careful, I can see how it would be very easy to damage a new screen. Thirdly, be careful when removing the sticky tape that covers the connector, its so sticky its almost like clear duct tape, and it would be very easy to damage the connector beyond repair, so gently peel it back around the edges as you will be reusing it. And the last warning, when you power the unit up it very normal for the bios screens to look ok but the opening windows screen to look completely messed up, but dont panic! Just restart the laptop in vga mode, windows will detect the new screen, and all will be good. All in all, highly recommended.

The product arrived, well packaged, and ahead of schedule. Although there were no instructions provided, I was still able to Google a number of You tube videos and follow along. Honestly, nothing could have been simpler. Now my beloved laptop is as good as new. A very satisfied customer...

This turned out to be just what I needed. After a cracked screen I went online and found a HP service manual that showed exactly how to remove the screen. Once I got the part number I easily found this replacement screen for a lot less than I was expecting. Even using the free shipping and waiting a few more days it came quick enough for me to remember how to put it all back together in about 30 minutes thankfully with no rework. Great transaction!

Product came in quick, well packaged, and it works! No instructions, but I wouldnt have ordered it if I didnt kind of know what I was doing. A few dead pixels throughout the screen, not too noticeable. But not worth the hassle to return considering my screen was broken long enough.
