It took me a long time to choose a really good UV filter for my sel24 ziess lens for my a6000. being such a premium lens i didnt want to compromise the quality of the glass so i heard the B+W make the best filters. I ordered one and it fits really well still allowing you to use the lens hood. no problems. recommended

Fits like a glove, stock lens cap fits well too. The Nano Coating is awesome, super easy to clean so far (been about a month) and its on my walk around lens, so its cleaned and used frequently. It honestly took me a while to drop the $$ for this but looking back, totally worth it. Photos are clear as if I was shooting without any filter on. No real ghosting or flare. I love to take night shots of the Moon and sunsets...so as you know thats when you get a lot of flare from filters. This so far has not done so compared to the Tiffen and RocketFish ones I used to have.

I use this on my Fuji 100S. B&W quality throughout. Cant even tell its on the camera, images still come out perfectly and I have the benefit of the UV filtering. I use this in place of the lens cap to protect the lens.

These are the gold standard for filters. While I generally agree to the school of thought that gear is secondary to the photographer, and that some of the things that pixel counters look at would never be seen in prints or real life... At the end of the day, we all have bigger and bigger tvs, computer screens, etc., so we do look at stuff ever larger. So while we pay good money to buy a high MPO camera, and a decent lens, having a cut rate filter seems silly. Go with the best!

Great sturdy design. Great optics and protection for my expensive lens.
