I wanted a filter for my super-zoom Panasonic Lumix fz200 camera. I went to few local camera shops and only found cheap brands selling at high prices. I ordered the B+W 52mm and upon arrival i was amazed at how nice it really is. This German made state of the art filter truly does justice to the Leica lens that it will be protecting.

For a simple UV filter, this things pretty substantial. I dont think Ive held a thicker filter before, yet theres absolutely no distortion. I havent taken a single picture without it since I recieved it. Great stuff.

Looks great and hope it does its job

I bought this along my favorite Hoya super HMC to compare them, I am astounded by the finishing of the B+W, heavier, better finish, looks really sturdy. The coating is comparable to the Hoya super HMC, I cannot tell the difference, is it overprice? Yes. But I still believe that it is worth the money. I ended on my Fuji X100s.

I owned many B+W filters, this one for my Canon 5diii 70~300mm, they are well well made, does not add anything on the photo that I can see, any lens I got I ordered one of this to protect the lens, highly recommended.

First thing I do when I open every L lens is slap on the B+W filter. The best lens deserves the best protection.

B+W makes GREAT filters, almost the standard for the industry. Great optical glass. I hate to put a cheap filter in front of a $1000 lens.
