Je lutilise comme protection de loptique de mon Sony HX 400V, dont la lentille frontale est proche de la face avant de lappareil ; ce qui, avec la façon dont je manipule mes appareils, rend une protection physique indispensable ( sur mon Sony DSC R1, jai littéralement pulvérisé le filtre, sans abîmer loptique, avec un mouvement un peu brusque amenant lappareil en contact avec le coin dune table métallique)

Update 7/27/16 After having these on the lenses for a while I can say I am very happy. I recently shot some sunset photos and did not see any additional flare from these. Shooting into the setting sun only caused the tiniest amount of flare that was present even without the filter. I think when people complain about flare from filters they dont take into account that is very much dependent on the front element of the LENS you are putting the filter on. If you lens doesnt have good coatings and reflects a ton off the front element, that is going to bounce back off the filter even if the filter is coated. Im using these on Zeiss lenses with amazing coatings that prevent almost all front reflections.
