> 3 dayI bought this a year ago before my son was born, not really knowing if it would be useful, but taking the risk. It ended up being probably the best purchase we made for our baby! He used it from about 6 weeks until 6 months when he began to sit on his own. We moved across the country when he was 3 months and the lightweight, compact portability of this bouncer saved us. Our son was a picky baby amd hated being strapped into anything; the carseat led to horrible hard-to-catch his breath meltdowns, the stroller resulted in crying fits, and forget the high chair. However, he adored sitting in this bouncer, kicking his feet and bouncing around. It saved our sanity many times. He also had to be on antibiotics for awhile at 5 months, and the only way he let us give them to him was when sitting in this chair. I am actually sad that we had to retire it until he is old enough to use the toddler side. Lastly, we washed the fabric at least twice a week due to spit up or diaper leaks and it still looks great! Yes, it is a slight pain to have to hang it to dry, but we found that washing it at bedtime and hanging overnight usually was sufficient to be able to use it by the next morning. Overall, I know that every baby has different likes and dislikes, but this worked so well for us that I felt compelled to write this review!

> 3 dayWe really like it BUT my baby fell backwards flat on her head because it wasn’t well adjusted in the back when changing positions, the worst part is that it didn’t happen right away, so it seemed secure and the click was ok... We moved it to a more reclined position (Thank God) and after a while the back of the chair fell back, and she hit her head pretty bad.. I was terrified... this happened from the most reclined position but if it happens when it’s in the most upright position.. that’s a big distance... so we put a pillow (see picture) and we check many times it’s well secure Otherwise we like it and it’s been 4 months and didn’t happen again... I feel the maneuverability is not good at all... it should be easier to change positions and more secure. Baby really likes it and she stays there for a while.

> 3 dayI love the Baby Bjorn bouncer for several reasons: 1. It is sleek and well designed. The straps securely hold baby in safely. 2. The cotton cover comes of easily and you can just throw it in the washer if it gets dirty. 3. Once baby is old enough, you can flip over the cover and use the bouncer as a chair/seat for your little one. 4. Weight - it is light and you can carry your baby in one arm and the bouncer in the other with no problem. What I didn’t like is that with the seat at the highest angle, when I put my baby in the bouncer, it falls far back to a nearly reclining position. It doesn’t go as far as his bum touching the ground, but in a position for napping instead of sitting. The fabric also faded color quite easily so it’s kind of a reddish dark black faded color now (not a deal breaker though). Despite everything, I would get this again, and I wish I had purchased it sooner when my baby was still tiny and much smaller.

> 3 dayPrior to our baby being born, we purchased a swing because I had previously read you do not need both a swing and a bouncer. However, our son doesn’t like his swing because buckling him in makes him fussy, and even though our swing has a detachable rocker, it is too heavy for me to conveniently carry around. Because our son has reflux, we have to hold him upright for 20-40 minutes after each feeding. This was taking up so much time every day I finally gave in and purchased this bouncer after reading the great reviews because the incline looked similar to holding him in our arms. The nurse hotline at our pediatrician office said a bouncer didn’t count as holding a child upright, but in my experience, it has worked perfectly for reflux. Not only is this the perfect place to set our son after feeding, he LOVES this bouncer and many times this is the only thing that calms him down when he is upset. There have been been nights where he refuses to go to sleep in my arms but will fall asleep immediately in this. Since it is not a safe sleeping device, I simply put him into bed once he falls asleep. I would recommend a Baby Bjorn bouncer to any new parent, and it is a must-have for any parent of a baby with reflux. The toy attachment is expensive but absolutely worth it. If this works for your baby, I would also recommend buying an extra cover. Since it can not go in the dryer, it took almost an entire day to air dry, and if you use this as much as we do, you will not want to wait two days for the cover to arrive. On the plus side, both spit up and pee easily came out in the wash, and the cover looked good as new! Note: I will say that I almost returned the bouncer after I saw the hideous warning label on the front of the bouncer that cannot be removed. It is unfortunate that a few people ruined it for everyone because the warnings are common sense and also highlighted in the instruction manual. I almost deducted a star for the label, but after further research found that it is actually required for all bouncers made after 2018 based on a new consumer safety law.

> 3 dayFor how much it costs I was expecting more. It’s difficult to adjust the height. My baby likes it but I’m very underwhelmed with it. Can most definitely get a cheaper one that is better.
