BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft, Mesh, Silver/White (005029US)

I bought this specifically for my reflux baby. He still spits up and its harder than laying down because he cannot turn himself to the side in this and he has started choking a few times. Also, while you can wash it easily, it says not to put it in the dryer and it took almost two days to fully air dry it. I lay a blanket in it now with a burp cloth for protection so i dont have to wash it every time. One thing that is true is that it does seem to help speed up bowel movements! Its nice, but not sure how its so helpful for reflux babies and I feel mislead by reviews. Maybe they have older babies that can sit in the higher recline positon. For reference my baby is almost 8 weeks and sits in the lowest recline. I still give the product a thumbs up because it is nice, just wanted to leave my experience because of all the reviews for reflux that isnt true for us. If youre solely buying it for that purpose you can save your money.

I was never really one to buy into the hype about Baby Bjorn. However, I can honestly say they do make superior products in general. This particular bouncer is just almost perfect but does have its pain points. For the good - It is lightweight, has good decent safety, has nice 3 levels of elevation, good materials, and seems to fit our baby perfectly. However, on the downside - you cant move it with baby sitting in it, its awkward to move even without the baby in it because there is no real handhold at the top or anywhere for that matter, the adjustments for elevation is located directly underneath it, meaning you cant do it with baby sitting in it, and the safety straps are a type where you have to slip it through the latch like a button instead of just click it in, which is difficult with a moving baby. Overall its a great bouncer, but you will need to be ok with some of the difficulties that come with it.

I am on baby number three and wish I had this bouncer for all of them! My 5 week old has been having significant issues with silent reflux (all of my babies have had this) and is so uncomfortable most of the time that she needs to be held or in the Boba wrap. She rests comfortably in this and is even falling asleep for her naps in it. It gives her enough elevation that it seems to improve the reflux enough that she can rest. This item is very nicely made and came fully assembled. I waited about a week to purchase this because of the cost, but it really is worth it. Highly recommend!

Buy this!!!!! stop shopping around. It really is the best product ever! This should go on every registry. I am bummed that I didnt find it earlier. Its sleek and sophisticated. It is natural, eco friendly and high quality!! the color alone is beautiful, the picture does it no justice. I bought the creme one and it looks great! it feels ever so soft too!!! Four positions for baby. I love that it folds flat for travel... so great for moms and dads on the move! The price is more than other ones but I promise you get what you pay for and this one is GREAT!!!! We didnt want a bunch of gawdy baby stuff everywhere and this is perfect for that. It looks classy! Its expensive for the length of time that we were able to use it, but it was completely worth it and has a great resale value. I purchased it when my son was a little over 2 months old, and I wish I had had it from the beginning. We stopped using it at about 7 months because he was sitting fine on his own and is big for his age. When it was in use, it was a lifesaver. It has a smaller footprint than a lot of other bouncers, so we were able to bring it into our small bathroom and my son would sit in it while we showered. We brought it any time we traveled, my son would sit in it while we ate dinner, wed put him in it while we cooked in the kitchen or washed dishes. He enjoyed that he was able to sit up to see what was happening, and I liked how easy it was to use and how lightweight it is. We used it a lot when he was fussy just to be able to get things done. I have several different types of carriers, but you cant baby wear all the time, especially when cooking or washing dishes. This solved our issue, he didnt fuss because I was able to engage with him by having him right next to me while I got stuff done. He had a couple of blowouts while seated in this, we actually called it the magic pooping chair. We also used this chair to feed him when we started introducing him to solids because he didnt seem to like his high chair at first. Depending on the level of clean up needed, the cover cleaned up easily with baby wipes or by throwing it in the wash.

When I saw my best friend use one of these with her daughter I thought eh, it can’t be that great and didn’t put it on my registry. BIG MISTAKE. Oh my god this has SAVED my life. I am a single mom of twins so I never have enough hands! They’re so light weight and easy to maneuver (I drag it around with my foot). This is often the ONLY way I can get through the witching hour with my sanity. I tell everyone I know to buy one of these. Make sure you don’t put the covers in the dryer after you wash them! I made that mistake and they’re a bit snug now but they still work great!!

Love this bouncer. We have used it sense day one and for photo shoots; we just put a blanket over it... I wanted a bouncer that didnt have a plastic thing on the bottom that would potentially hurt my baby and I got it! Ive been using it now for 4 months and he still loves it. We still bounce him so I have gotten very good at multitasking but he has started bouncing himself recently as well. Im able to do homework with him right next to me, cook, clean, and eat dinner with him right there. Our little guy likes to be near us and watch what were doing so this is great! He also has really bad gas problems and has trouble laying on his back at night so we put him in this. Ive noticed that he doesnt writhe in pain sitting up as well. It does get dirty so we easily slip the cover off the metal frame and pop it in the washer, super easy! Also can easily move around the apartment. Love that its transportable also. It just folds down and doesnt take up a ton of space in the car.my husband and I are poor college students so Ive waited awhile to review on this product because I was so bitter about the price but Ive used it so much it certainly makes up for it! Great buy!

I do like this bouncer (baby isn’t here yet so I can’t report on if she likes it just yet), but the color of the frame was not accurate. The one I ordered said it was a black frame and the box also said that it was a black frame. The frame ended up being grey, which I do like and it isn’t a big deal to me, just misleading based on the listing photo. The color of the cover itself is fairly accurate, maybe just a little darker in person than in the picture. That’s the only reason I took a star away

My 4 week old baby seems to like sitting in this seat. I will update this once he gets a little older and takes greater advantage of the bouncing feature. For now, I will say that I like how lightweight it is and that you can wash the fabric portion of the seat. I also bought the googly eye toy that fastens onto this, but my baby doesnt seem very interested yet, so I took it off. Side note: You have to remove the toy every time the baby goes in and out of the seat, so its a little bit of a pain. All in all though, the seat is a nice purchase. Update: my baby loved this seat up until he was around 5 months old when he grew out of it. He loved bouncing himself and simply reclining. He seemed very comfortable in it and seemed to have fewer issues spitting up after bottles if I put him in this. Also, this seat cover held up well in the wash. I highly recommend this for parents of small babies.

After reading tons and tons of 5 star reviews, I just knew that I HAD TO HAVE this bouncer. And, like a fool, I spent $200 on a bouncer--only to buy a $40 Fisher Price swing a month later. Pros: very portable from one room of the house to another, not an eye sore, easy to wash, easy to get baby in and out Cons: very pricey, my daughter (3 months) does not move around enough to make it bounce much---and therefore, she becomes bored in it. Perhaps, once my daughter is older and tends to move more/is heavier, we might like it better. For now, I primarily use it when she is fussing and I am trying to get ready in the mornings...I just bring it in our small bathroom by our vanity, and I am able to bounce it with my foot while I fix my hair in the mornings.
