> 3 dayGuys. I know what youre thinking - this product is really expensive, cant we just skip it? Please ask yourselves the following questions: Do you like showers? Do you like to use the bathroom? Do you need to make food to survive? If you answered yes to any of these questions, dont skip it. My baby practically lived in this thing and the RockNPlay for the first couple of months. I didnt get any of the swings/Mamaroos, etc. because our apartment is pretty small and those things take up so. much. space - this folds right up so you can store it away when not in use and, when we took weekend trips to visit grandma and grandpa (in the car), it was super easy to bring with us. Now, theres a model out there that has a toy bar. At one point I thought, it would be great to have a toy bar... but then I just pulled it up to our activity gym and - tada - toy bar. But mostly my guy was perfectly happy just checking out his hands or interacting with me. Also - when they finally learn they can bounce in it, its really cool to watch their little faces. I wonder if thats what my face looks like when I walk through the double doors at Starbucks...

> 3 dayLove this. It’s so sleek. However, it’s not a magic dream come true. Maybe for some but for me I would have wanted a $200 bouncer to bounce my baby that does not have the mobility to bounce themselves. Also, baby tolerated for only about half hour at a time. This could be cheaper. It’s essential just a chair and doesn’t do anything special.

> 3 dayIs this pricey? Yes. It is worth it? Yes. We used to have a rock and play for my first child, then they were recalled. So we have this a go. It’s a nice comfy chair, but it’s hidden attribute is that if your little one is backed up, some gentle bouncing and gravity works magic on constipation, thus why we dub it the magical poop chair. Cons: Wish it was a buckle instead of a thing you slide through, it can be difficult at times and very difficult one handed. Also one more setting to be more upright.

> 3 dayI borrowed a baby bjorn babysitter balance when I had my first child 4 year ago. I liked it, but I has to give it back when we were done with it. With my 2nd child, I bought a cheap bouncer that I thought would do just as a good a job. Nope! I just bought the bjorn balance and now Im happy. The legs on the cheap bouncers stick out- everyone who came near that bouncer tripped. It didnt adjust up or down and you couldnt fold it easily for travel. The bjorn really is bouncy, so even though theres no battery powered vibration on it, my baby loves being it. She loves kicking to make it move. Highly recommend. Also, if you are looking at the balance and babysitter. They are about the same overall. The babysitter has a reversible seat so if you get tired of brown/khaki (or your baby spit up on that side and you were too lazy to get up and wash it), you could flip it over to the all brown side for a new, clean look. :) the restraint unbuckled completely. If you flip the balance cover over, its just the seat without any restraint system so they call it a child seat.

> 3 dayJust get this for your baby! It’s so comfortable for baby and secure. We got the cotton one and it breathes just fine in hot weather. It’s so soft and comfy—seriously—and baby can easily bounce in with just the kick of a leg. Our baby is just a month old and already loves being upright and able to see us in this chair. It is so easy to use (we just pop baby in and no need to buckle because it’s already buckled beforehand). We have tried other loungers and they’re just not as comfy for baby. To save on cost, we bought an unboxed “like new” one. Look for those! As soon as you get it, the cover slips right off to be washed and slips right back on with ease. Just get this. And if you don’t like it, you can always return it thanks to Amazon’s awesome policy.

> 3 dayI love the simplicity of the design. It is so lightweight and easy to move from room to room. The cover is easy to remove, clean, and reattach. Pricey, but I am happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayWe could not have lived without this seat. I grew up babysitting for boys with a similar seat, and this was the only one I found that was comparable: simple without obnoxious colors and plastic toys with flashing lights and noises everywhere. I think it says to keep it on the ground, but ours lived mostly on the kitchen table (placed carefully and centrally) with Freddie the Firefly on the chandelier above. We spend most of our time in the kitchen, and this let my son be a part of the group. He used this day 1: when too small to put his legs through the holes, we swaddled him and just strapped the whole burrito in - it was perfect. It worked well for us to keep a thick cloth diaper (a gift - it was cute and monogrammed) under his head all times, and when the seat got dirty I was good about spot cleaning it right away. I machine washed it about 3 or 4 times (didnt put it in the dryer) and it looks absolutely perfect. We did buy the wooden toy, which I also reviewed, and yes, spend the money: it feels expensive (at least it did to me) but it was worth it. The baby loved it, and I do think it helped develop his fine motor skills as he worked to spin and manipulate the hamburger. An all-around excellent product.

> 3 dayJUST GET IT!!! I hesitated buying this because of the price, but couldn’t believe all the good reviews and was in need of some thing that would make my baby content . I am so glad I got this bouncer when she was three weeks old and we still use it daily at nine months. I struggle to be able to calm her, even being held. This bouncer was my saving grace. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Greater than one weekExactly what I was looking for. Pull out of the box, lift, insert baby, done. No assembly, no blinking lights or motors, just great design. Folds up nicely for easy travel to grandparents houses. Our daughter loves to look around in this and falls asleep in it. I love that it grows with her and she can use it into her toddler years as a lounging seat. Although its pricier than most infant seats, if you are looking for a solid design without having to compromise your aesthetic, I would definitely recommend. It would be great if you could purchase additional covers separately, as they are removable. UPDATE: Once our little one could sit up unassisted, we didnt really use this any more. I found that if we put her in it, she was struggling to sit up straight. Im going to hold onto it and see if once she understands the concept of lounging if shell go back in it (without the front harness of course). The nice thing is that this easily folds up and can go into a closet until then. So from birth until about month 8 this chair really was invaluable.

> 3 dayOur baby literally lived in our arms for almost two months and then we found this. This was a game changer for us , she happily sits in this for straight 30 minutes without fussing or crying. Happy that we found this product.
