BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft, Mesh, Silver/White (005029US)

We didn’t think we needed a bouncer because we had a swing, rock n play, and other spots to put baby. Man, were we wrong! We visited my sister when my son was 3.5 months old and plopped him in her Bjorn. He looooved it. We knew we needed our own, so we found one on Amazon (on sale!!). What a life changer. My son is very high needs, always wanting to be held and bounced. This bouncer allowed us to eat dinner together without holding a baby, and I could do laundry and get things done!! Game. Changer. I’m so mad we didn’t have this for the first four months of his life as they were so very challenging on me as a stay at home Mom. He’s now 6 months old and LOVES his bjorn still. This is a must have. UPDATE: my son is now a year old and I still use this bouncer daily. It’s the only way I’m able to shower!! So nice having a comfy, fun, safe spot to plop my son down when I need to get things done. We still love it so much!!

Its expensive for the length of time that we were able to use it, but it was completely worth it and has a great resale value. I purchased it when my son was a little over 2 months old, and I wish I had had it from the beginning. We stopped using it at about 7 months because he was sitting fine on his own and is big for his age. When it was in use, it was a lifesaver. It has a smaller footprint than a lot of other bouncers, so we were able to bring it into our small bathroom and my son would sit in it while we showered. We brought it any time we traveled, my son would sit in it while we ate dinner, wed put him in it while we cooked in the kitchen or washed dishes. He enjoyed that he was able to sit up to see what was happening, and I liked how easy it was to use and how lightweight it is. We used it a lot when he was fussy just to be able to get things done. I have several different types of carriers, but you cant baby wear all the time, especially when cooking or washing dishes. This solved our issue, he didnt fuss because I was able to engage with him by having him right next to me while I got stuff done. He had a couple of blowouts while seated in this, we actually called it the magic pooping chair. We also used this chair to feed him when we started introducing him to solids because he didnt seem to like his high chair at first. Depending on the level of clean up needed, the cover cleaned up easily with baby wipes or by throwing it in the wash.

Did not originally get a bouncer or put one on the registry; however, I struggled with where to set my baby down throughout the house or while cooking besides tummy time... this was the perfect answer. She likes being able to see whats going on and this sits her up. Can use anywhere in the house. Very high quality, and nicely washable for blowouts/spit ups. Baby is pretty content in it. Its lightweight and portable and folds nicely so you can take it anywhere (friends house or in-laws etc.)

Best baby product we’ve purchased so far! As a new mom, I wasn’t sure what to get because it can be very overwhelming with swings, seats, bouncers etc. My sister has this for her daughter and loves it, so I decided to get one. I love it too! It is so convenient because you can carry it around the house and it’s very portable and folds down flat for storage when not in use. I put my son in it when I am doing housework Or when we are in the kitchen and he actually likes it! So many times with baby bouncers and seats they may not like it or be uncomfortable, like my experience with some Fisher-Price products (one of them rhymes with “Spock and play”), but not this one! I feel that this will be very versatile and take him through at least the next year or two. Do yourself a favor and get this item that can replace all other bouncy seat and rockers!

I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase this bouncer for my three month old son. My main hesitation was the price but I liked that it could fold flat as we were going on vacation in the next month. I kept looking for other cheaper options but nothing seemed to compare to the features that this bouncer offered. I decided after months of searching to purchase this bouncer for my son. As soon as I got it I noticed how easy it was to take out of the box- little or no assembly required and I was able to try it out on my son right away and he looked so comfortable and had a big smile on his face! This bouncer is worth every penny! Though I wish the cost could be improved as I am sure this is not affordable for everyone I am thankful that I decided to purchase this bouncer! It is sturdy and safe in construction and my son loves to bounce in it while I make dinner or do other chores around the house. If you can afford this bouncer you will not regret it! It is solid in construction, folds flat for travel and the fabric is machine washable! I would have chosen a different fabric as the black fabric shows a lot of dirt but I am happy with my purchase overall! This seat allows baby to be active while mom can interact with baby.

My son is what is referred to as a velcro baby. He will not let me put him down for even a moment without crying horribly. I spent 2 months unable to make myself food, comb my hair or even shower without him crying his little eyes out. I was exhausted but then...my mother suggested this little bouncer and everything changed! From the moment I put him in the chair he was calm and happy. Its very well made, easy to move from room to room and the cover is machine washable. The design is simple and brilliant. The straps can be put on with only one hand. Super easy to get him in and out. He is 4 months old now and starting to figure out that he can make it bounce. The cover is solid canvas and soft. Thebseems are very strong. It make zero sound while he bounces. I now have a moment here and there to do things around the house while my little man plays in a safe comfy little seat. Highly recommend!

Didn’t register for this, but you should. I bought when my girl was about 6 weeks old and she loved it from the moment we got it. She’s 14 weeks now. We use every day. Would recommend to anyone!

I dont think you can really appreciate how awesome this bouncer/portable chair is unless youve used the cheaper ones first. When my daughter was born a friend of mine was nice enough to lend me her Fisher Price bouncer chair that vibrated. While it was convenient for placing the baby anywhere in the house I ended up hating it because of its design...the legs stick out in a V shape and I tripped over the thing constantly. It was worse in the middle of the night when trying to get the baby to calm down and go to sleep, half asleep myself and then there I was trying not to kill us both tripping over the stupid bouncer. I noticed other reviews for the Fisher Price bouncer complaining of the same things. Whoever designed that chair should be flogged. But I digress...this bouncer is awesome for so many reasons... - Doesnt nearly kill you with poorly designed legs - Super lightweight - Doesnt require batteries (my daughter hated the vibrating feature on the Fisher Price bouncer) - Easy to remove the cloth and washes well; easy to put back on...you just slide it on and off - Easy to put baby in/take baby out - Lasts until the kids a toddler as a toddler chair - Small physical footprint - Cleaner materials, resulting in a less toxic environment for your little one Cons: Obviously the biggest con is the price when you compare it to the much cheaper bouncers but you get what you pay for and as I mentioned above, you cant really appreciate this fact unless youve owned/used the cheaper bouncers before this. The only other con is that this doesnt come with the toy bar and for the price it should. I didnt buy the toy bar but it looks like Im going to because my daughter gets bored after a while and drops the toys I do give her so she needs something that stays in front of her and keeps her attention. In the meantime we have slid this thing halfway under the activity gym/mat and she plays with the toys hanging down while in the bouncer. Bottom line, this is truly the best bouncer on the market and worth every penny if you can afford it. If not, do not get the Fisher Price with the legs that stick out to the side (I think all of theirs do, actually)...get anything but those, for your safety! And get the toy bar, if you can. One thing about the mesh...I got the silver mesh because I simply liked the look of it but if I had it to do over again Id get the standard cloth version and in a dark color because my daughter has been nice enough to blow out several diapers all over this thing and while it has washed like a dream (thanks to OxyClean stain remover) I fear the day she stains it for good. However if you live in a hot climate mesh is the way to go.

I bought this a year ago before my son was born, not really knowing if it would be useful, but taking the risk. It ended up being probably the best purchase we made for our baby! He used it from about 6 weeks until 6 months when he began to sit on his own. We moved across the country when he was 3 months and the lightweight, compact portability of this bouncer saved us. Our son was a picky baby amd hated being strapped into anything; the carseat led to horrible hard-to-catch his breath meltdowns, the stroller resulted in crying fits, and forget the high chair. However, he adored sitting in this bouncer, kicking his feet and bouncing around. It saved our sanity many times. He also had to be on antibiotics for awhile at 5 months, and the only way he let us give them to him was when sitting in this chair. I am actually sad that we had to retire it until he is old enough to use the toddler side. Lastly, we washed the fabric at least twice a week due to spit up or diaper leaks and it still looks great! Yes, it is a slight pain to have to hang it to dry, but we found that washing it at bedtime and hanging overnight usually was sufficient to be able to use it by the next morning. Overall, I know that every baby has different likes and dislikes, but this worked so well for us that I felt compelled to write this review!
