> 3 dayI dont think you can really appreciate how awesome this bouncer/portable chair is unless youve used the cheaper ones first. When my daughter was born a friend of mine was nice enough to lend me her Fisher Price bouncer chair that vibrated. While it was convenient for placing the baby anywhere in the house I ended up hating it because of its design...the legs stick out in a V shape and I tripped over the thing constantly. It was worse in the middle of the night when trying to get the baby to calm down and go to sleep, half asleep myself and then there I was trying not to kill us both tripping over the stupid bouncer. I noticed other reviews for the Fisher Price bouncer complaining of the same things. Whoever designed that chair should be flogged. But I digress...this bouncer is awesome for so many reasons... - Doesnt nearly kill you with poorly designed legs - Super lightweight - Doesnt require batteries (my daughter hated the vibrating feature on the Fisher Price bouncer) - Easy to remove the cloth and washes well; easy to put back on...you just slide it on and off - Easy to put baby in/take baby out - Lasts until the kids a toddler as a toddler chair - Small physical footprint - Cleaner materials, resulting in a less toxic environment for your little one Cons: Obviously the biggest con is the price when you compare it to the much cheaper bouncers but you get what you pay for and as I mentioned above, you cant really appreciate this fact unless youve owned/used the cheaper bouncers before this. The only other con is that this doesnt come with the toy bar and for the price it should. I didnt buy the toy bar but it looks like Im going to because my daughter gets bored after a while and drops the toys I do give her so she needs something that stays in front of her and keeps her attention. In the meantime we have slid this thing halfway under the activity gym/mat and she plays with the toys hanging down while in the bouncer. Bottom line, this is truly the best bouncer on the market and worth every penny if you can afford it. If not, do not get the Fisher Price with the legs that stick out to the side (I think all of theirs do, actually)...get anything but those, for your safety! And get the toy bar, if you can. One thing about the mesh...I got the silver mesh because I simply liked the look of it but if I had it to do over again Id get the standard cloth version and in a dark color because my daughter has been nice enough to blow out several diapers all over this thing and while it has washed like a dream (thanks to OxyClean stain remover) I fear the day she stains it for good. However if you live in a hot climate mesh is the way to go.

> 3 dayWe need to exchange because the description and picture to advertise does not accurately represent the color. The beige is actually mauve.

> 3 dayOne of the most used products I’ve bought for my Babygirl. I’ll read to her in it, take it with me to different rooms when baby needs to be in eyesight but I need to be hands free. It’s lightweight, portable & not an eyesore. It also helps soothe baby to sleep & pass gas/poop. Does not self bounce but that hasn’t been a problem for me. 10/10 recommend!

> 3 dayThis bouncer is a life saver. My little girl loves hanging out in it, napping and as of recently kicking her feet. Its really easy for an adult to make it bounce until shes able to bounce in it by herself. Just slightly tap at the bottom with your foot. Right now, shes 2.5 months old and weve been using it for a while at the lowest setting. I used an insert to help her head stay straight (for naps mostly) but its really not necessary. Sometimes I tuck in a blanket under her arms. I know its a little pricey compared to other bouncers out there but I think its worth every penny. The cover is very easy to take off the metal bars to wash -- we had one major diaper blowout while she was in it but it all came off without staining. Just make sure to hang to dry, dont put it in the dryer. The only reason Im giving it four stars is the black / grey color. I wanted a more neutral color to fit with our living room furniture but the material actually attracts a lot of dust and dog hair. I just use a lint brush to clean it every other day. I also hope the black doesnt fade over time. A sand / stone color would have been more practical for us.

Greater than one weekBest baby product we’ve purchased so far! As a new mom, I wasn’t sure what to get because it can be very overwhelming with swings, seats, bouncers etc. My sister has this for her daughter and loves it, so I decided to get one. I love it too! It is so convenient because you can carry it around the house and it’s very portable and folds down flat for storage when not in use. I put my son in it when I am doing housework Or when we are in the kitchen and he actually likes it! So many times with baby bouncers and seats they may not like it or be uncomfortable, like my experience with some Fisher-Price products (one of them rhymes with “Spock and play”), but not this one! I feel that this will be very versatile and take him through at least the next year or two. Do yourself a favor and get this item that can replace all other bouncy seat and rockers!

> 3 dayI borrowed a baby bjorn babysitter balance when I had my first child 4 year ago. I liked it, but I has to give it back when we were done with it. With my 2nd child, I bought a cheap bouncer that I thought would do just as a good a job. Nope! I just bought the bjorn balance and now Im happy. The legs on the cheap bouncers stick out- everyone who came near that bouncer tripped. It didnt adjust up or down and you couldnt fold it easily for travel. The bjorn really is bouncy, so even though theres no battery powered vibration on it, my baby loves being it. She loves kicking to make it move. Highly recommend. Also, if you are looking at the balance and babysitter. They are about the same overall. The babysitter has a reversible seat so if you get tired of brown/khaki (or your baby spit up on that side and you were too lazy to get up and wash it), you could flip it over to the all brown side for a new, clean look. :) the restraint unbuckled completely. If you flip the balance cover over, its just the seat without any restraint system so they call it a child seat.

Greater than one weekOur baby has a reflux problem (something shes been struggling with since 3 weeks of age). Laying her down after feeds or at any point causes her to spit up all that she has drunk. I was looking for some tips online and read on mommy blogs that this bouncer really helps with GERD babies. We were a bit hesitant to order it because it was so expensive, but then I saw it on Amazon for a better price and also they were offering $20 off for every $100 you spend on Baby Bjorn items. We took the plunge and ordered it, and could not be happier! There is no assembly required, you pull a lever on the back and lift up the top part and rises up. Its super easy to change the settings (Sleep, Rest and Play, as well as Flat). It folds nice and flat which makes it very convenient to be carried around. We always take this with us when we are visiting friends, its so light and easy to carry. The wooden toy is pretty cool too- a little on the expensive side but gives baby something to occupy themselves with whilst you do your work. The bouncer looks very nice wherever it goes because it isnt bulky or brightly colored like most baby items, which is a big plus for us! We always get compliments on how it looks!

> 3 dayWe really like it BUT my baby fell backwards flat on her head because it wasn’t well adjusted in the back when changing positions, the worst part is that it didn’t happen right away, so it seemed secure and the click was ok... We moved it to a more reclined position (Thank God) and after a while the back of the chair fell back, and she hit her head pretty bad.. I was terrified... this happened from the most reclined position but if it happens when it’s in the most upright position.. that’s a big distance... so we put a pillow (see picture) and we check many times it’s well secure Otherwise we like it and it’s been 4 months and didn’t happen again... I feel the maneuverability is not good at all... it should be easier to change positions and more secure. Baby really likes it and she stays there for a while.
