Guys. I know what youre thinking - this product is really expensive, cant we just skip it? Please ask yourselves the following questions: Do you like showers? Do you like to use the bathroom? Do you need to make food to survive? If you answered yes to any of these questions, dont skip it. My baby practically lived in this thing and the RockNPlay for the first couple of months. I didnt get any of the swings/Mamaroos, etc. because our apartment is pretty small and those things take up so. much. space - this folds right up so you can store it away when not in use and, when we took weekend trips to visit grandma and grandpa (in the car), it was super easy to bring with us. Now, theres a model out there that has a toy bar. At one point I thought, it would be great to have a toy bar... but then I just pulled it up to our activity gym and - tada - toy bar. But mostly my guy was perfectly happy just checking out his hands or interacting with me. Also - when they finally learn they can bounce in it, its really cool to watch their little faces. I wonder if thats what my face looks like when I walk through the double doors at Starbucks...

My baby is a month old and I bought this so she could be close to us and not have to be lying down. She’s very calm in it and the light bouncing helps with her digestion. We even bought the freaky lil eye thing that goes with it. She likes to stare at it I’m sure when she can move her arms more she’ll grab at it.

I like that the bouncer is made with babys wellbeing in mind (safe materials, egronomic design), and for that reason it is worth the price! I wish I bought this earlier. The weight limit for the bouncer option is 20 lbs and my daughter is close to that weight. However, she enjoys spending time in her bouncer, seems comfortable, so even though shell outgrow it soon - its worth it! I am not crazy about the color I chose (greenish khaki), so if I was buying this again I would choose a color that is more fun. I was considering buying another fabric cover, but it seems that these are not sold separately. Another issue is that whenever my daughter poops while sitting in the chair, there is a diaper/laundry situation as everything goes up her back. I wouldnt say its the products fault, just simple physics. Because of the seated position, stuff cant go down/distribute evenly in the diaper, so it goes up! I To avoid having to wash the seat fabric every day, I put a small receiving blanket on the bouncer when my daughter is using it.

This is by far one of our families most favorite baby product purchases. All babies are obviously very different, so our experience with this product may not be the same as someones experience looking to purchase this item. That being said, my 11 week old grandson loves this bouncer. He is content sitting in it for reasonable amounts of time. He actually looks forward to his bouncer time each day. Mom and Dad never use the bouncer as a baby sitter; they always have some level of engagement with the baby while he uses it, so maybe thats one reason he loves hanging out in it. The three different angle settings are great depending on babys mood. The most upright angle is great when the baby is active and alert. The middle angle is perfect for when baby just wants to relax but not sleep. The lowest angle is nice for baby when he wants to sleep. We havent actually used the sleep angle yet, so not sure how well baby will sleep in it. I imagine our baby would sleep just fine in it if we wanted to utilize it for napping purposes. Before we knew how much baby would love this bouncer, we chose it based on four points: • it is not battery operated and promotes baby to move in order to bounce • it is super easy to clean; just pop it in the washer and line dry (Im sure you could machine dry it on low) • it is made with quality material free of harmful dyes and chemicals • it can be used as a chair/lounger when baby gets older All in all, I am very pleased with the bouncer and I look forward to using for years to come.

Ok, in all seriousness this chair is amazing. Our daughter hates to be put down laying down during the day, so this is great. Allows her to be part of the action and its attractive and portable. The funniest secondary use for this chair is that it makes her go number 2 as soon as she sits in it! I dont know what it is about the angle of the chair but she feels most comfortable pooping in it. So if we can see that shes struggling to go, BOOM, put her in that chair and its a miracle worker. Only thing is we have to put down some sort of protective layer between her and the chair because there have been some blow out diapers that stained the fabric. Super easy to clean but a hassle if youre doing it daily.

I bought this specifically for my reflux baby. He still spits up and its harder than laying down because he cannot turn himself to the side in this and he has started choking a few times. Also, while you can wash it easily, it says not to put it in the dryer and it took almost two days to fully air dry it. I lay a blanket in it now with a burp cloth for protection so i dont have to wash it every time. One thing that is true is that it does seem to help speed up bowel movements! Its nice, but not sure how its so helpful for reflux babies and I feel mislead by reviews. Maybe they have older babies that can sit in the higher recline positon. For reference my baby is almost 8 weeks and sits in the lowest recline. I still give the product a thumbs up because it is nice, just wanted to leave my experience because of all the reviews for reflux that isnt true for us. If youre solely buying it for that purpose you can save your money.

Our baby has a reflux problem (something shes been struggling with since 3 weeks of age). Laying her down after feeds or at any point causes her to spit up all that she has drunk. I was looking for some tips online and read on mommy blogs that this bouncer really helps with GERD babies. We were a bit hesitant to order it because it was so expensive, but then I saw it on Amazon for a better price and also they were offering $20 off for every $100 you spend on Baby Bjorn items. We took the plunge and ordered it, and could not be happier! There is no assembly required, you pull a lever on the back and lift up the top part and rises up. Its super easy to change the settings (Sleep, Rest and Play, as well as Flat). It folds nice and flat which makes it very convenient to be carried around. We always take this with us when we are visiting friends, its so light and easy to carry. The wooden toy is pretty cool too- a little on the expensive side but gives baby something to occupy themselves with whilst you do your work. The bouncer looks very nice wherever it goes because it isnt bulky or brightly colored like most baby items, which is a big plus for us! We always get compliments on how it looks!

I bought this for my sister when she was expecting my first niece almost 3 1/2 years ago and since then 3 babies in our family have used it and LOVED it. I dont know what the magic is about this thing but babies adore it. I recommend it to anyone having a baby!

Our baby literally lived in our arms for almost two months and then we found this. This was a game changer for us , she happily sits in this for straight 30 minutes without fussing or crying. Happy that we found this product.

If we could give this product ten stars we would. We had our first child in August and after the first month our pediatrician had us go to urgent care because “it isn’t normal” for baby to cry for six hours straight every day. Of course the urgent care doctor merely sympathized with us and told us to strap in for the next 3, possibly 6 months. Cue a casual menty B (mental breakdown) for mom. Our daughter hated the side to side swing another parent recommended, but liked when dad did squats while holding her - however dad said this was not a long term solution. Mom realized baby liked an up down motion - enter the Baby Bjorn Bouncer. Baby no longer fusses for hours every day - mom and dad now have some semblance of their mental health back. Our only wish is that it could be motorized, but on the other hand our calves are getting real swole.
