> 24 hourThis monitor has an exceptional feature set with a fantastic price to match. This isnt a purely gaming monitor nor is it purely for professional use, but its overwhelmingly very good at both. This monitor should be held as a gold standard in which all other monitors should be compared to. Every monitor in the known universe has trade offs between picture quality and gaming performance. Youll have to pick a feature set which is most important to you. The BenQ has a focuses more on image quality and color calibration over pure gaming features. If you are a professional or content creator that also like to game... well listen up, and keep reading! The BenQ EX2780Q closest competitor is the LG 27GL850G. + you can actually buy this and have it delivered to your front door... The LG is either out of stock or overpriced from most retailers. + Excellent for photoshop, video editing, CAD, programming, gaming, spread sheeting, or word processing. + One feature that is mostly overlooked... 144Hz for non-gaming tasks will make common desktop apps nicer to use. Apps will feel more fluid, scrolling through web pages, documents, and spreadsheets is buttery smooth. Even the Windows 10 interface is so fluid. So even if you dont care about gaming... you will enjoy using this monitor. + colors are phenomenal and will blow most monitors out of the water. The LG might win here, but by only a small fraction. If you are looking to upgrade from a monitor that you bought a few years ago, I can almost guarantee that your monitor wont have the 95% DCI P3 color reproduction. If you dont know what that means... well its pure awesome. + The BenQ has great contrast (1000:1). The LGs contrast isnt as good (800:1), grey scale is a touch muddy for my tastes. For most applications this wont be a big deal. The BenQs better contrast will be most helpful for photo/video editing/watching. + the BenQ is rated for 144 Hz and the LG for 165Hz again the difference between here is very minimal for most. Pro gamers will want 240Hz, but on those screens; contrast and color reproduction will suffer greatly. So if you are a pro gamer making money or want to make money by gaming, and have decided that 240Hz is the upmost important feature... the BenQ or the LG isnt for you. + the built in speakers are actually good... really good! Nice bass, good vocal response, loudness is pretty decent too. If i were to be picky... the mid-high range suffers a little. Critical listening should be performed on headphones or studio speakers anyways. If you are able to eliminate an external speaker set by using the built in monitor speakers, the amount of wires on you desk is greatly reduced. + BenQ might not have the brand recognition as maybe Samsung and LG. If this is your first BenQ, you wont be disappointed. + On screen menu system is basic, easy to understand, and yet has a comprehensive adjustments. +BenQ has packed a ton of modern features into this monitor at a great price, you will be very happy with this decision. Downsides: The monitor stand. It only tilts up and down several degrees... does not pivot, does not raise/lower, or does not rotate. It is solid and stable, and out of the box set at an average height. I recommend trying the built in stand for a while, and if it doesnt work out for you, just buy a monitor arm. Great ones can be found as little as $50. Good luck on your monitor search... mine has ended with the BenQ EX2780Q.

> 24 hourAbsolutely in love with this monitor! The clarity and color definition with the resolution and refresh rate is the sweet spot for me. As it should be for most gamers. The amazing 2.1 speakers are a bonus. Probable best speakers available in monitors currently on the market. The remote is a nice touch as well and hdri features work great well!

> 24 hourThe monitor has everything good that you desire from a quality screen except the poor HDRi. The feature itself isnt too bad but the automatic adjustments are very noticeable in some environments. I suggest you stick to Display HDR if you enable HDR at all.

> 24 hourIts way too dark for gaming. The B.I. doesnt adjust in the daylight. I wish I could have returned this for a better gaming monitor. It does have a good refresh rate and comes with its own controller and speakers. Good for a PS5 or if you want to watch movies.

> 24 hourThis monitor does it all and looks great doing it! PS4 Pro and PS5 both recognize this as 4k, so NO down scaling! It also rocks paired with my RTX 3080 running warzone at 1440p maxed out. Built in speaker is amazing as well.

> 24 hourI love the auto brightness sensor, but at its lowest setting the monitor is still to bright in a completely dark room. I wish the monitor gave you a offset for minimum, but sadly it does not.

> 24 hourExcellent well rounded 1440p 144hz ips gaming panel! Crystal clear display... No bleeding or backlight problems... all pixels are perfect... Excellent response time... HDRi is emulated... not true HDR as the monitor lacks proper amount of nits for true hdr... but the emulated HDRi definitely gives a nice boost overall! The remote control makes this monitor extremely user friendly, ironically many may not even need as the moniter menu buttons and the volume knob are extremely user friendly as well. This is a good monitor! Stand may look on the cheaper side however has been very durable... Cannot be tilted too much...but it gets the job done.
