These brackets are great. Make putting up a swing set a breeze. They are serious on lumber size. the 4x6 header should be 3.5x5.5 (mine was not, but a few shallow cuts on 2 faces and a wood chisel got them down to size). My 4x4s (10 length) slid right in. Dont bother with miter cuts, etc... just pop these brackets on and youre good to go.

Very heavy. These will last 50 years. Exactly what I needed. My DIL and I built a huge swing set with these and four 4x4s.

Built this using 12ft 4x6 for top beam and four 4x4s for the legs. I added two 2x4s to hold legs together. It’s a monster and didn’t need to be this big, 10ft top beam and 8ft legs would be more manageable. I used pressure treated lumber and needed to slightly plane the ends of the legs to fit snugly. I probably wouldn’t need to if I let lumber dry out for a couple of weeks, but what kid has that patience. You need at least two people to do this and a step ladder. Overall very pleased with the brackets and hardware. Make sure to pre drill holes to avoid splitting the wood.

The brackets are sturdy and very easy to use. I figure that they saved me lots of time when compared to other means for holding legs to the top beam in a swing set

So far have had no problems with my swing brackets, only 1 week old now. Im glad I made my husband look at what I ordered before he went to get the wood for swing set. The directions said exactly what you needed. The wood is not 4x4 for top part, it is 4x6. Very sturdy and cheaper than another one I was looking at on Amazon. Happy with my purchase =D

Make sure you double check the direction of the angles the picture on the instructions is wrong. Stickers go on opposite sides

Great for the DIY swing set. Comes with all the screws you need to attach beam and legs. Well built, would highly recommend!

If you are thinking about building a swing set for the kids buy these brackets, they make it so easy. Here some advice I got from someone who wrote a review earlier ,wait till you get the brackets an take them with you when you buy the wood. I spent 20 min looking for 4x6x10 that the brackets went on easy, less time for the 4x4 and hopefully straight. My son in law did the labor an I was the helper, I handed him bolts and mark lines to put the swing hingens on for three swings. We started putting the set together at 10am and by 11:10 am the grandkid was swinging away and daddy taking picture. having the brackets slide on easy helped, no banging them with a hammer or on the ground. Worth every penny

Start to finish the whole project took 45 minutes and that includes attaching swing hardware and hanging swings. 1-2-3 and it was done. Get help lifting set up and keep a rubber mallet handy to pound swollen wet PT lumber if needed.
