> 3 dayHeavy duty steel, very sturdy. Finished putting this thing together in about an hour total and its not going anywhere. My kids love it, and its more than capable of holding adults too. For me, I did have to shave down the ends of the 4x6 top beam slightly in order to get the bracket to fit over it but thats more than likely due to the variances in wood from the lumber yard. I used a lathe but you could just as easily just sand it a little if you find yourself in a similar situation. Overall this is worth every penny. Adding up these Brackets, wood, hardware, and 3 Swings my total project cost was just about $300 which is way less than buying a swingset and the wood is a much higher quality from the local lumber yard and will last a looong time. Definitely get pressure treated lumber if you didnt already know ;)

Greater than one weekIf u ever picked up a drill and bit u should be good togo. Would suggest having a full charge on your drill also have one helper as the wood is large. 1qty 4x6 would. i did only 8 feet across. i only needed space for 2 swings. I drilled my swing 24”holes spacing with only 11 inches space between swings. Drill your holes while the swing is on the ground. The wood can get in your eyes if u do while its standing. Very strudy. im 225lb of muscle. holds me easy. I did a few pull ups on this and it holds

Greater than one weekBuilt this using 12ft 4x6 for top beam and four 4x4s for the legs. I added two 2x4s to hold legs together. It’s a monster and didn’t need to be this big, 10ft top beam and 8ft legs would be more manageable. I used pressure treated lumber and needed to slightly plane the ends of the legs to fit snugly. I probably wouldn’t need to if I let lumber dry out for a couple of weeks, but what kid has that patience. You need at least two people to do this and a step ladder. Overall very pleased with the brackets and hardware. Make sure to pre drill holes to avoid splitting the wood.
