I was impressed right away with how quiet it is but what impressed me most was how it efficiently cleaned up the air after having my patio door open a short while during this poor air quality from Canadas wild fires. Until then I had never seen the air quality indicator light display anything but blue. I wondered if it truly worked. Im so glad it has that feature...it cleaned the air for probably 30 min to go from red to yellow to the blue light again. Im a big fan from this day forward! I think Ill just leave it on all the time now

This unit turned on and got to work. Been on ever since. Kinda scared to open it up and change the filter. But no time like the present, right? Well, the outer washable filter slides right off. I dont think mine is quite ready for a filter change. Still mostly white. However, I could potentially see that changing the filter should be done by someone not quite so allergic to dust...and maybe not IN the room of the allergic person.

Love this air purfier. Its quiet and I believe it does work because I can feel a difference in the air quality. I also sleep better at night now with this in the bedroom. Really helps to collect the dust from carpeted rooms. Would highly recommend. I havent cleaned the filter yet but it looks pretty simple. The outer grey covering is velcroed so easy to wash.

This does a great job of removing odors from my home. It is not bulky and will purify an entire floor

Purchased this air filter to install in a child’s bedroom. The low sound level and compact size make it great for smaller rooms. Pros: - It’s A very quiet air filter even with the fan on full speed. - The Gray cover is great at hiding the dust that builds up between washings as the air filter is used. - It looks good in the room and is not an eye sore. - Auto Setting is a convenient way to run the air filter. As it senses changes in the air quality the fan will increase circulation and air filtration. - LED indicator will change as the sensors pick up changes in air quality. Cons: - The Gray cover goes directly over the filter membrane. There is no plastic sub structure. That means if it’s in a child’s room and child knocks something into it, it could dent or damage the filter itself resulting in the need for a replacement. - Without constantly referring to the manual it’s difficult to know what setting it’s on. This can be rather problematic if a child continues to cycle through the settings. Would I recommend it to a friend: Yes

Update after 9 months: No complaint. Hasn’t broken like some suggested. Works exceptionally well without needing to change filter after 9 months of nightly use. Everyone’s allergy improved. Definitely the best air purifier after a trial of multiple major brands on the market (GermGuardian, Levoit, Instant, Dyson, Hamilton Beach). Highly recommend! ————————————————— I bought it after I watched a CBC news video comparing different air purifier brands on YouTube. Interesting enough, I actually own every air purifier brand tested in that video except for BlueAir. Surprisingly, BlueAir scored better than Dyson and Levoit in their air quality test!!! So, I bought this one, and it did not disappoint. My infant and I slept better, no more stuffy nose and the room became less dusty. It indeed worked better than many other hepa filters! Last but not least, it looks so sleek and nice! Highly recommend!

I think the price point of this unit is great, but just didn’t quite air out our doggos dirty laundry. I tested the purifier by running our doggos outside in the dirty and enclosing them in our smallest Tom with the filter turned on high. The dogs coats were clearly dusty and dirty and I could see debris in the air. The filter would never change from the auto setting. Not sure if our unit was defective or if my test wasn’t the best. Overall didn’t think this unit was suited for what I needed it for.

This air purifier works great and is very quiet. Perfect. HOWEVER - Amazon doesnt sell replacement filters for it. Had I known that in advance, I would have picked a different model.
