We live overseas in a city with high air pollution due to cars and burning of trash. These are fantastic. We have one in each bedroom and the main living room and they do exactly what we need. I can especially tell the difference in the mornings when I go into the hallway of our apartment building and can smell smoke, but there’s no smell of smoke in my house. Love them!

This does a great job of removing odors from my home. It is not bulky and will purify an entire floor

When cooking it work’s amazing. I use it on the auto mode and it will go to red when the air quality is bad, orange when the air quality is medium and blue when the air quality is good. I love it and it has improved my breathing or at least it feels like it.

Having an AQI sensor with an auto mode is pretty rare for purifiers at this price range. BlueAir is really cool for creating something inexpensive to be a set it and forget. I’ve tested and tried many different air purifiers and while I have a favorite already, this one really deserves its praises. For starters, I want to say this is definitely a bedroom-centric purifier and isn’t meant for larger open concept spaces (Opt for the 311 Auto for bigger area). The 411 auto is virtually silent on level 1. Level 2 is also pretty quiet but has a very gentle breeze sound (personally my fav for sleeping bc the white noise is calming). Level 3 definitely is a jump in sound but is good for brief quick air cleaning. Auto mode is pretty accurate with detection rate. I put out a candle that was relatively close proximity to the purifier and the sensor light turned red and gradually revved up to sift out the smoke. In another test, I blew out a candle that was further away from the purifier across the room. The sensor did take longer to begin revving up the fan (about 5 mins give or take) but nonetheless still managed to detect. I find dissipation of odors and smoke to be pretty decent. Today I was indecisive about outfits and tried on many diff things while looking in the mirror and I guess all the dust and lint kicked up and got the little guy revving up. All this to say, the AQI sensor and Auto Mode is great! Other positives: -low power consumption. It’s gonna be so inexpensive on your electricity bill. Only 10watts of power max! -stylish! The prefilters are very attractive I’m in a very modern minimalist space with black and whites and grays. The default pre filter it ships with fits perfectly! Diff decor? They have many different colors for you. I have to say, I doubted this thing for a bit because of its seemingly lacking power. It reminded me a lot of the Levoit Vista 200. However that model is awfully weak and not worth the money. I believe the reason why the Blue Pure 411 Auto works so efficiently well, is because it is 90% filter. There’s no plastic unibody or restrictive intake grills. Just fabric and filter. Because of this, less fan power is needed to pull in air through several layers of plastic holes and super dense materials. Pretty innovative and a true example of “less is more”. Highly recommend for those who want a stylish, efficient minimalist air purifier for a small space.

This purifier works as advertised. I use to wake up with a stuffy nose prior to purchasing the BlueAir purifier. At first I was a little skeptical about the auto function because I hadn’t seen a change in the air quality indicator or speed. But, one day I was preforming some repairs around the house and I heard the fan speed increase as well at the indicator change to red, this put a smile on my face because I knew this thing was in fact monitoring the air quality. I can also see the amount of dust collected on the pre filter as I clean it each week. Definitely would recommend this product if your in the market for an air purifier.

My stuff is always dusty and I figured that something like this could help with that, on top of the fact that I know indoor air quality is generally poor, especially compared to outside. This thing is perfect and I love it. It has auto mode (sets fan speed according to measured air quality) and three different manual speeds. I use only use either auto or low. I put it on low (I guess its called sleep) to sleep, because then the bright blue light doesnt bother me since the light stays off on auto-mode. If its the unit in a room where I dont sleep or its daytime, I leave it on auto. I smoke MJ at home and the auto-mode is so fast and sensitive that when I smoke in my living room, the unit in my bedroom very quickly detects the smoke and kicks the fan into high. The single button touch control on the top, along with its light indicators, are super smooth and pretty Fn awesome (can I swear here?). It looks great, too. I got a green cover and a blue cover, for the two different rooms (I have two units). So, I was able to match it to the decor. It absolutely works, helps with the air quality, AND really cut down on the dust!

We live in a small apartment and take it room to room. For example, we use it when were cooking or cleaning to clean up any smells. The biggest change is that it helps get rid of the corn chip dog smell in the bedroom. My husband loves it for his allergies. Great product

Im very ill and struggle with breathing sometimes. I have trouble cleaning my room due to my illnesses and I suspected the unclean environment wasnt doing me any favors either. I noticed that it was getting difficult to breathe specially when I was laying down. I would often wake up gasping for air. Ive had this air purifier over a week now and my breathing inside my room has improved greatly. If I have the filter at medium or full blast, Im not stuffy at all either. Im noticing Im not waking up gasping for air now. I cant believe the air my room was causing me so many issues. In fact, if I spend some time elsewhere in the house, my nose becomes stuffy again because my family doesnt use a purifier there. I have my purifier on all the time now. It has made some weird crackling noises only twice since I bought it. Its infrequent, though unsure what causes that. The auto setting is very quiet if filter detects the air is in good condition. Im able to sleep without issues while its on. If Im moving around my room, I set it to medium because I dont need it to be so quiet. I went with this brand because of how quiet it claimed to be compared to others available, the auto setting, and washable filter on the outside. It was a terrific investment for me and I only wish I had it since years ago. I never knew a device like this could really help me out with my health.

I thought broken... Touch didnt work. Tapping on it did. Bought second unit because first unit is working well and wanted another in another area. The con is the cost. There is not much to the design, while similar designs are running 1/3 the price. Only feature that those dont offer is the sensor in the same size package or the filters are higher costing. I got the 2nd one 30% off, and even then it was still at 2x the price. Its rather simple, a 3 speed fan that would be used for computer cooling (which should be a brushless type motor fan), a tap sensor switch and a sensor for monitoring the particulate level. The low auto setting allowing it to save energy based on particulate level is a plus tho. I love to buy the bigger one, but its about 200 dollars and the filters are also expensive. I think I could build it cheaper with a small speed control box fan, and filters. I suppose I am paying for the automagic sensor design. Being so sensitive to house dust, I can easily feel the difference when running it just an half hour in a 450 square feet room.
