> 3 dayDuring a test flight with a new engine installation, an oil cooler fitting failed and blew oil over the windshield (liquid-cooled engine with no cowling installed for testing purposes). The only way to see was to open the gull wing door and put the airplane into a side slip, during which the Bose headset was blown off my head. Luckily this happened on downwind so already had the runway made. On base to final, I realized the headset was still plugged in. I looked back and saw the Bose slapping against the fuselage in the wind. I pulled it into the cockpit and put it on. It was completely covered in oil but still worked to let tower know what was going on. 1 year later, I’m still using this headset daily and works great. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayExpensive? Yes. But worth the money. I had been using a Telex headset for quite a while and recently switched to these after buying a pair of Bose headphones (QC35). I was very impressed by the ANR with those and decided to give the A20 a shot. And they did not disappoint. The ANR makes a HUGE difference in flight and, even though I knew it was coming, its still a surprise how quiet the cockpit becomes when you turn these on. Even more importantly is just how comfortable these are. Compared to the Telex, these are night and day in terms of comfort and I could easily wear these all day without complaint. Theyre light, well-balanced, and seem to barely clamp your head. The long battery life is a serious plus and, even with sunglasses on, the ear pieces are able to seal out the sound and stay comfortable. If youre on the fence with idea of spending the money on a quality pair of headsets, I can tell you that you wont regret this purchase.

Greater than one weekI mean do I even have to write a review on this product? It is essentially the benchmark for aviation headsets. I tried it on and instantly there was peace and quite and I could hear the ATC instructions clearer than I’ve ever heard before. Comfort is top notch. Bluetooth connectivity is seem less. Quality is as good as it gets.
