Briwax Oil-Free Steel Wool 0000

fantastic, use to clean the wood before using it to apply the brixwax. now my favorite steel wool for all cleaning.

We bought this and the #4 size in a 5lb reel by Homax from Amazon. Super fine this one, very coarse the other. And the price was not so different for vastly different amounts of product! This is a small amount and so quite pricey - specialist size: for fine finishing/ shining of polymer clay or fine woods on things like models and pens.

No film and very smooth finish for rub oil finishes. So smooth final coats required no polish or buffing. If you re careful with final application.

No oil, much less expensive than the other brand of oilfree steel wool.

Absolutely fabulous steel wool. I have not tried other 0000 steel wool but this Briwax 0000 steel wool made my sanded boards glass-like to the touch. Also this wool seems to be very durable.

I was solely using Liberon for my projects, excellent stuff. But, this is just as excellent and less expensive. No brainer.

This is legit. Lasts me quite a long time per use, and did exactly what I needed it to do. My windshield looks ten times better than it did, aside from all the pitting which I intend to try and fix with a high quality glass polish compound. Would definitely recommend.

This is the stuff. Expensive, but worth it. Puts the common hardware store stuff to shame......

Dont expect a long service life on an item this inexpensive.

I have used 000 steel wool, and several other methods of cleaning up chrome parts on the old Schwinn bikes I re-furb. This one works best! I like being able to whack off a short length, thereby eleminating waste.
