So far after a month, a sold workhorse, no issues.

The printer is good, light and comfortable. BUT YOU DIDNT MENTION THAT IT CANNOT PRINT IN COLOR. THIS PRINTER ONLY PRINTS IN BLACK AND WHITE, WHICH IS VERY BAD!!!

I PERFORMED THE FIRST FEW STEPS AS INSTRUCTED. With out getting to register or insert paper (only removing shipping tapes & silica) the printer gave a message that drum was not installed righ... re inserted several times then msg changed to PAPER JAM but no paper was put in YET. I cannot get the printer beyond that msg regardles of you tube videos and further instructions.

I ordered this in March. It will NOT connect with my wireless internet service! Ive worked repeatedly with my internet provider to get it to print from a Mac laptop and/or a PC laptop. When Im lucky, I can get it to print a few pages. Lately NOTHING! Today I called Brothers Tech service. I can get only men in India who refused to connect me to anyone in the USA. He wanted to connect directly to my computer so he could see what the problem is. When I told the first guy I wanted to speak to someone in USA, he connected me to a second guy in India. When I told him this, he HUNG UP ON ME.! What good is a wireless printer that wont connect to a network? What good is a printer with HORRENDOUS tech support? Ive been dealing with this endlessly since I received it! The setup and communication system with a tiny window and hopeless buttons to push is the worst Ive ever dealt with and I used to deal with multiple fax machines and printers at work daily! I regularly programmed them for special features and memory functions. Brother was supposed to be a good company, but Ill never buy another Brother product again!

I have tried for months to print mixed paper size documents with not success. I have contacted brother repeatedly and I just spent 1 hour just today. We tried everything and then I was told that there was nothing else that they could do and referred me to contact adobe. I plan to sell this machine and buy another printer from a different brand.

The first one I ordered did not work - Missing Drum Unit or something like that. The second printer works well, but I could not install it as a network printer. I had to install it as a USB printer. Then after the installation, I could move it to the network. I then had to change my driver settings to get it to work, but it seems to be working okay for now. Im keeping my old OKI B431dn until Im sure.
