    As of this review, I have had this printer for more than five years and it has ALWAYS performed flawlessly at printing both the standard size labels (DK-1201) and the wider labels (DK-2205). I have always used just the P-Touch software to manage my contacts / addresses and have made extensive use of adding the barcode at the bottom of labels when printing. In conclusion, I have nothing bad to say about this item.

    I did not find this device to be that easy to set up and print labels with the Brother QL-700. Once I did figure it out, it worked fine. If you print small file folder labels (for example), they can easily slide back into the casing as you try to pick it up, so be careful about that. Brother might want to consider getting someone that never used a label maker to rewrite the installation instructions.

    I have a home office and needed a printer for individual labels, as printing them on full sheets resulted in discoloration of the labels. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing this used Brother QL-700 because 1) it was used and sometimes bad/defective stuff gets resold on this site; and 2) Im no techie and I dreaded setting up another machine to work with my Mac. I took a chance and was so happy when I was able to set it up so quickly. (Went to the Brother website to download the current driver package and installed it without any trouble.) The printer worked fine and Im very pleased with its features and performance, as well as the labels themselves. Really glad I got this printer!

    Spent the last hour trying to enable this with MAC 10.10.2 No way Should have read the bad reviews. Back it goes. AND the editor software wont un-install!!!

    This has made my life so much easier when printing FBA labels! Only reason I dont give 5 stars is because I use a Mac, so it was a nightmare to set up this printer and I cannot use the P-Touch software. I found a good enough work around, though, so overall, Im happy with it.

    I was never able to get this Brother QL-700 High Speed Label printer to work with Microsoft 10 driver. It would never detect the printer and I could never find the correct driver. Wish I had bought it from local store so I could have returned it. Do not buy this product. If anyone can help with this problem please let me know.
