Greater than one weekMy new favorite label(er) maker. The software wasnt necessarily super easy or intuitive and the original labels werent what i needed for address labels, but now it rocks. I didnt try to import my old addresses and I have no idea if that can be done, but starting anew I effectively wash old data out anyway. How long does it take to add a new address? This thing is so fast, it does turn off after it isnt used for a bit but after the second time wondering where my label is i now remember. Loading new labels is also easy and fast. Id buy again but I doubt I will need to, seems heavy duty so far, printing is crisp, doesnt smear.

> 3 dayThe printer itself is fantastic but the software is a high maintenance mess. If you do any kind of windows update (even automatic ones), you will have to do an update with your brother software and it is a pain in the backside. Its not one simple, idiot-proof download. Each time Ive had to call brother tech support and they walk me through a series of delete this... click this.. now do this... and it has become clear to me that its cheaper to provide call support vs. spending money to make their software user friendly. If their software was as good as the printer, I would give them 5 stars and tell you to buy this product, but Im on Amazon today looking for a competing product out of frustration.

> 3 dayThe Brother QL-700 is a nice, somewhat hefty, thermal printer that produces clean, legible mailing labels. It prints at up to 93 labels per minute at up to 300x600 resolution, and has a nice, clean cutter for continuous roll paper. It is easy to load. I like the fact that I dont have to mess with ink cartridges or toner. Although I use it for mailing labels, it will also print labels for file folders, as well as others uses that you may come up with. It will print ID badges for events and the like,, but be forewarned that pictures (like a face) have no gray tones. The included software works with PC and Mac, though the MAC software is a bit tricky to install properly. An additional note: I bought this on Amazon on September 6, and it has still not arrived. I am told it is bound to do so on or before October 22. I couldnt wait any longer. Faced with addressing envelopes by hand, I went down to BestBuy and bought one. Not sure what Ill do with the one I bought on Amazon, Though. Maybe sell it on ebay?

> 3 dayReceive this label maker as a Christmas gift. Im very pleased with it. The only problem I had was it came with a disk for installation. I have an Apple MacBook Pro doesnt have a disk drive. I did call the company in order to find out how on earth to install it on my computer. Once I did that everything seemed to go reasonably well. Works well for me, but I use it primarily to print address labels on mail.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best items i have gifted my self in recent years infact it is not about the price that made it the only best factor but the way it works the swiftness the ability to get multiple stickers in a fraction of time is just amazing the auto cutter just keeps you hooked to the machine for a while. you will love it so much that you will just keep printing anything you want as a big kid :) it an Office toy to make an impression that lasts.
