> 3 dayI had to turn the print speed down to avoid distortion of 2d matrix barcodes. Not sure why but the text on the last half of the label would be slightly slanted. Reducing the print speed fixed it for me, but now it prints much slower.

> 3 dayI bought this so that I could print my own bar codes. Install the program on your laptop to create labels. You have to make your own layout for your needs, so you will need to be slightly computer savvy.

> 3 dayI have two of these so that I dont have to change out the label size. They work great and it is easy to make labels. Love it.

> 3 dayI use this printer to label bottles in my shop. I use the address labels and it is a lot cheaper that buying a commercial label maker. You can type in what you want on the label, and print exactly what you need, you can also use various size labels as long as they are compatible with Brother.

> 3 dayIts a luxury, I know. I have one in my office but wanted a second in my hobby room for labeling all those little boxes and drawers (I bead and sew, so there are LOTS of things that need labels). You dont even need to install the software if you just run the lite edition, since this is in the label printer itself and it good enough for most labels. In the office I installed the full version from the CD. Installation is a little tricky but I finally got it to work. The printer is much better than the Dymo I had which often printed items that were not centered on the label or even printed blanks at times. It also constantly needed adjustment to get the roll back into position and the label where it was supposed to be to start printing. Big pain. The Brother does not have any of these problems and I have been very happy with it.
