Brother Sewing and Embroidery Bobbins 10-Pack, SA156,Clear

Great for using with my Brother Sewing Machine. I bought some off brand bobbins, and they feel apart quite quickly.

There is no reason that these cost more than others on Amazon. Take the time to find the best buy...everything is made in China anyway so go with the cheaper non-branded bobbins. I could not tell the difference so I returned these. Not a good value.

I use these bobbins in my PE770 embroidery machine and in my normal brother sewing machine. These are a class 15 bobbin and work wonderfully in both of my machines. I love that its a 10 pack, this way I have 2 bobbins wound with my embroidery thread and the balance I use for various colors on my main sewing machine. I always feel its best to use the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) bobbins, as they give the best performance, in my opinion. They wind smooth and beautifully. They are clear, so its easy to gauge when you are close to running out of thread. I bought these bobbins for my Brother CS6000i sewing machine, and they work perfectly with this machine both for loading them and in use. I like having multiple bobbins available since I can keep some of the loaded with the thread colors that I use most. It also save on wasting thread when you have to change to a different color. So far, I have had absolutely no problems with these bobbins for my sewing machine.

This is what is officially recommended in the SE400 manual- it states that using other brands of bobbins may cause less than desirable results. I gave it 4 stars because it works for my machine like it was intended, and the prices are not insane. I really like the fact that its clear, so you can see if you messed up when winding the bobbin and also how much thread you have left. I do wish they made these in different colors (in clear plastic), because I am having a hard time differentiating between the different threads (regular, embroidery, buttons, etc) once its on the bobbin.

These fit my brother xl5600 perfect. I want metal ones but always read that half are unusable and bent. With these, all are usable. Almost the same price as Joann, but a tiny bit cheaper. Authentic.

When I last bought these bobbins it was in the five dollar range now its in the eight dollar range. Inflation sure has hit notions hard. I prefer these Brother ones over the cheap metal ones I tried. I have less tangles and thread nests with these. Holding the tail ends has also helped, that prevents them from getting pulled into the feed dogs and tangling up.

My grandma had bought a few replacement bobbins for her sewing machine and they were the wrong brand. I saw this pack and ordered it for her so she can make some masks to donate to the hospital. These worked perfectly in her Brother brand sewing machine. I have no idea what year it is, but I know its really old. The off brand ones looked so similar, but they werent as tall and slightly less wide which makes all the difference when it comes to using it in the machine. Totally recommend if you have a Brother sewing machine. These also came in same day shipping so that was amazing. Great product, great services by amazon for delivering it so fast.
