> 3 dayThese are well worth the money. I tried buying the cheap generic ones and they simply do not work in my machine. They dont spin properly and I end up with skipped stitches, tangles, and all sorts of problems. There really is no substitute for the real thing when it comes to these bobbins. It is so handy to have a whole bunch of them pre-wound with different thread colors for easily switching between projects.

Greater than one weekI struggled with finding these model bobbins in Joanns for years. They kept telling me a certain universal brand would work, but when I went to use them, bobbin issues would abound. It was annoying to the point that I thought I needed a new machine. It wasnt until I was looking for singer bobbins that the sales lady leveled with me. She asked me what bobbins I was looking for, I said ones for a singer, and she said, good, we dont carry any other type. I order these when I got home, tested them out when they arrived, and promptly returned the singer to Joanns once I realized my bobbin issues were a thing of the past. TL;DR: These revived my nearly 10 year old ce-4000 and let me avoid a costly mistake!

04-06-2025i know you can get more bobbins for less money on line but these are the real sa156 bobbins. dont buy generic if you have a brother sewing machine. i did and the generics work horribly. the generics dont fit tightly in machine and i can hear them rattle as i sew, even at low speed. also, my stitches come out uneven or get caught in machine and i have to pull them out. if you are searching for sa156 bobbins get the real ones and these are them

> 3 dayThese fit my brother xl5600 perfect. I want metal ones but always read that half are unusable and bent. With these, all are usable. Almost the same price as Joann, but a tiny bit cheaper. Authentic.

> 3 dayI was thrilled to find bobbins to fit my sewing machine at a great price. I like to keep a number of bobbins wound when working on a project so I dont have to stop in the middle of sewing to wind another bobbin. At this price I can afford to keep enough bobbins on hand.

Greater than one weekAfter buying a 10-pack of cheap knockoff SA156 bobbins, which did not work well at all, I spent a few extra dollars to get the real thing and Ill always do so from now on. The difference in quality between the two is laughable - these are the real deal, smooth, perfectly sized, no sharp nubs of plastic in the middle of the stems like the knockoffs (also purchased here at Amazon) had, no sharp edges to scratch your bobbin case. I highly recommend saving yourself some time and frustration and picking up these actual Brother bobbins if you have a machine that uses SA156 (and no, I dont work for Brother, just love my machine!). They might be cheaper elsewhere, I havent checked my local stores yet, but even if not Id rather pay a few extra dollars and get some quality bobbins that wont wreck my machine or cause me to waste time endlessly winding and rewinding.

09-06-2025I use these in my PE800. Genuine Brother product. Exact size bobbin required for mymachine. I have not had any problems with tension or threads breaking. I wind my own bobbins with 90wt bobbin thread.

> 3 dayI dont use my machine a lot but I needed to make masks and I was seriously being tested this go around. My thread was constantly jamming up and I spent more time getting everything ready only to jam up again and again. After Utubeing the issues , I found it could be due to the bobbins. The aftermarket bobbins work for some machines but not my mine. I loaded them with new thread and its been like night & day, Im not jamming anymore. Also, my machine sounds better too. Its not making the clacking noises. This was such an easy fix.
