> 3 dayIve only done one practice engine with this hone so far, but none of the balls came loose like others have mentioned, and it is true to size so that = 5 stars from me. I had to plunge in and out of the cylinders fairly quickly when using a 400RPM drill to get a 45 degree cross hatch, but that seems common to this type of hone. Ill update this review when I complete the engine I actually bought it to use on.

> 3 dayI made sure to order the correct size. I modified the end by grinding off the nub so I could get closer to the pistons. It worked excellent. The stones are quality, I sprayed with WD-40 and it made quick work of it leaving a beautiful cross hatch pattern deglasing perfectly.

> 3 dayI bought this because the idiots i work with pretend to be LS experts. So far everything theyve said has been wrong. They said LS engines cylinder walls will be ruined with a ball hone. So I bought the best ball hone which comes sized perfectly for my engine Im building. Makes perfect cross hatchs. Good product.

> 3 dayI’ve used stone type hones for years, these are super simple, create a great cross hatch pattern and clean up easy. Only down side is the need for several sizes to cover what you can do with a stone type hone. For ease of use, I’d highly recommended.

Greater than one weekJust used it on one aircraft cylinder, but it did an amazing job. Other mechanics in the shop were equally amazed. The cylinder broke in very well.
