> 3 daySo far so good. Only had for a week or so. I should have read the description better I thought it was two batteries but it was only one. The other thing I didn’t like is it does not come with a charging cable, and not like most people have the right one just sitting around. So I will have to buy one separate.

> 3 dayI have an older Bao Feng UV-5R. The battery would not fit. The battery would not fully engage when insertion into the radio was attempted. I had to remove, with a Dremel tool, a portion of the case. It for, lack of a better description, the portion within a half ellipse area on the front of the case. After grinding this area away. the fit was good. The battery takes a charge well and holds the charge well. All in all , good battery. Would buy again.

06-06-2025First thing I did when I got this radio was run it down halfway through the battery, and then I fully charged it. It made it just around the 62 hour mark on standby without ever being turned off, with about 2 hours of solid listening from nearby repeaters and maybe 30-40 minutes listening to FM during the middle of those conversations. The math adds up about perfectly (I guessed around 60-65 hours of life based off 65mah/hour spec on standby), dont have to open it up to be sure youre being scammed. It is a genuine and genuinely good battery. Will be buying a second one soon as both backup and for my second radio if needed.

> 3 dayNot much to say, it powered my radio just fine off the 12V socket and I was able to save my battery for when I arrived at my destination

> 3 dayThis is a good option to have around when you don’t have access to power to charge the battery that came with the radio. You can use alkaline batteries or ni-cd/nimh rechargeable. Just make sure that you use the dummy battery when using alkaline. This should be on a sticker that you apply to the pack to always remember

Greater than one weekThe battery is actually nice how it lengthens the area you can grip the radio. for others that and I will be easier to use if you have bigger hands. battery has lasted me more than a day for non-business use. however, i find the hard plastic isnt as thick as some of the other batteries i encountered so i would advise to use in high impact or heavy work areas where you know there is higher risk of damaging it. it is durable though just not construction site worthy.

> 3 dayThis is a key component of my poor mans mobile. Im posting this same review for all the other accessories of the build, but not for the radio which I love and reviewed separately. Heres the build:

> 3 dayNo alterations required, slid right on like its supposed to . Dont goet snookered into getting a cheaper replacement, go with the manufacturer item. I learned that the hard way.

Greater than one weekKinda bummed about it only being one in the package but its durable, long lasting and easy use. Fits my ham radio just fine.
