> 24 hourFirst The most important part I don’t unplug it daily maybe once a month and yet it Doesn’t last, went through 3 in less then a year! I should have know better to just stop buying after two, but sometimes you just don’t have time to search. For sure overpriced Chinese garbage. You would think a company wouldn’t want their name stamped onto that. If your company is good and charging a lot maybe do the opposite of what everyone is doing and actually make your own products in America.

> 24 hourCould not get speeds above 600MBps with this cable on my SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD. Was able to get 1.5GBps with a generic 20GBps cable vs this “Intel Certified” cable.

> 24 hourGiven what a mess USB-C is (i.e. one connector but lots and lots of cable nuances), I appreciate that CalDigit marks the cable connectors with a 3 and a Thunderbolt to signal that the cable is in fact a Thunderbolt-3 capable cable. Since its active, it can transfer 40GBps. Passive cables longer than 0.5m will be limited to 20GBps. While those numbers sound immense, keep in mind that a 4K display at 60Hz will consume ~13GBps.

> 24 hourI have a Razer Core X and a CalDigit TS3 Plus. Both came with short cables. Tried both the CalDigit 2m cable and NekTeck 2m cables, both of which do not work. The original cables and an Apple 0.8m cable works with my devices. I am giving 2 stars because CalDigit knew about the incompatibility, but this is not stated on the product page.

> 24 hourThis is super pricy for a cable -- but its pretty much in line with other active Thunderbolt 3 cables. Needed something longer than the default that came with my thunderbolt hub so I could use my standing desk. This is the same brand, as the hub, but it works just as expected.
