Greater than one weekpicked one up for dusting out stuff at work, its nice, its not silent, but you can have a conversation over it. wish it was either a little less top heavy, or if it had a longer bent up handle. but for the price its good..

> 3 dayBought 7 months ago for my laser runs very little, its quite what I was looking for. A week later I noticed when I was engraving I had no air I thought I for got to turn it on it was on. I have power to the motor but motor will not run. I have not heard back yet from the company, I will update review when a solution is found.

> 3 dayQUIET! Makes less noise than air tools, like 2 hands clapping. FAST! 8-gallon tank fills in about 2 minutes. LIGHTWEIGHT! Easily pulled aluminum unit from box with one hand. LOOKS GOOD! Nice silver paint. Lower profile than v-twin motors. NO OIL! Less mess & headaches. Teflon-coated pistons & cylinders reduce friction & sound. EASY! Assembly a breeze. Drain lever is visible at side, & quicker to open than threaded plug. Use on tires, lug nuts for brake jobs, clean dust, pressurize smoke to test vacuum leaks or remove stains. Solvent on 1 side & air on the other, works like a charm. This is a game-changer, by far the best Ive ever seen.

> 3 dayMy wife and I are renovating a mid-1960s house, ultimately planning to live here full-time. My 27gal compressor back home was sorta-portable (wheels & stood vertically) but not easily transportable between the two houses. While researching for a small, quiet compressor for the reno my original compressor violently self-destructed. (:- Portability became much more important. The 8010 is small enough and light enough to strong-arm into a car trunk. Tank capacity is completely adequate for my needs (air gun, light sandblasting, minor cut-off work.) At this level its ideal. BUT--I also needed a relatively-quiet unit. My original was not, and as my wife has offices at both locations Im particularly careful about how much noise I generate. This California Air Tools compressor is billed as ultra-quiet, and thats an excellent description. This is easily the quietest compressor Ive every used, and that includes the little carry-along tire compressors one carries in a car trunk. I have a cousin who has a home-shop in which she makes things for her business. I learned they needed a compressor for some airbrushing they need to do. As noise in her shop is also a big consideration, I was able to recommend this compressor without reservation. Id buy it again, for sure. And yes, I did buy it. I have never accepted compensation for anything I review.

> 3 dayin all my years, ive never known a small shop compressor to be this quite. i turned it on for the first time and was convinced it was broken. the wife came out to the shop, seeing my quizzical look and offered to start the amazom return process. i give it a few minutes to complete the initial fill, confirmed the gauge readings and then tested a few tools. works as any compressor should work. took an outside paint-sprayer pressure gauge to compare/confirm the attached compressors gauge - off my 3 psi (line loss maybe). again, the compressor works as stated the amazing quality of this compressor is that you can use it with blowing out an ear drum during initial fill and subsequent refills under usage. always use hearing protection while operating the end tool - no need to be that guy. as long as it holds up over the years, it will be an excellent choice. not to mention, in the dozen times ive drained it after use, no rust in the d/c moisture. in FL thats rare. the AL tank is great.

> 3 dayWith out any question this is the quietest compressor I have ever had. This thing fills quickly and is very pleasant to work around. Sounds like a sewing machine. Really nice.

Greater than one weekVery quiet! Capable of 1/2 impact tools used in moderation such as tire changes. No issues so far, but only used a few times.
