> 3 dayI used this sacrificial anode to stop a corrosion problem in a Cor-Ten steel water sculpture. It works! Before installing it, the water turned orange with oxide in three days, and I had to drain the pool. Now, the water has stayed clear for two months with no chemicals. I also painted the pond with RustBullet anticorrosion paint, but there are still substantial exposed steel parts. I can tell the anode is working because it is slowly developing pits.

> 3 dayI bought a used RV. It was our first. Got it home and was doing some cleaning and general maintenance on it when I found the anode rod out of the hot water heater. Now I have never had to deal with this before so I think that the junk on there needs to come off so I put it in a bucket with vinegar. My buddy who has been RVing for a few years starts to laugh at me. I had cleaned it down to the little copper wire in the middle. He said it should be large looking. So I get on Amazon and look it up and sure enough here it is. Live and learn. Bottom line: It fits our RV hot water heater and was a great price. Check them about once a year and flush out your tank when you change it. It keeps the tank from rusting.

> 3 dayAlways used these on my travel trailer and never had a problem with them. I do need to change them every two years because of the water that I have in the area I am in. I found the best price for these here at Amazon and I always keep one on hand.

> 3 dayA must for your RV water heater that requires and Anode Rod. You should remove it at least once a year to be sure there is enough surface on the Anode Rod. Will save replacing the the whole water heater if you fail to do this. A little difficult to remove and reinstall, but again worth the time and effort.

> 3 dayEast to install saves hundreds of $ verses calcium build up in tang . will keep build up off of the tank allowing proper heating of water.

Greater than one weekAtwood RV water heaters do not come with an anode. This fits perfectly in the drain plug hole. Theres some discussion as to whether one is needed or not, but Ill err on the side of too much protection as opposed to not enough.

> 3 dayDidnt thread in hole very far! Maybe two or three threads in! Should be farther for a pipe thread! Worked but would of rather seen more thread engagement!
