2 year review: Ive used this hose for filling my RV water tank and hooking up the city connection in parks. I got the 25ft version but wish I had bought the 35 or 50 as in most situations this one is just long enough but sometimes too short to fill. The host itself has held up fantastically. No kinks, no holes, the connections still look like the day I bought it. The only thing I didnt like is the strain relief springs dont stay on the ends.

Worked perfect for my home birth. Never drank out of it, but needed a fresh water hose to fill the birthing pool. It did the job. Now we use it in the backyard for our 3 year olds water table and play sprinkler. He’s drank the water from it quite a bit but has no feedback but isn’t complaining on the taste which is rare lol

I use this for an RV, and it lasted a couple of seasons (light usage). But one day it split in the middle and luckily a neighboring RVer saw the flooding and turned off the water. I have no idea why it split, so cant rate it as highly as I would have. But I did get another one for replacement, so Im giving it another chance.

It did kink at first a couple of times. But we left it in the sun to get it more malleable and that took care of the issue.

Definitely meets the premium standard and I used this in conjunction with the Camco water filter to fill my potable water tank. Easy to use and perfect fit without any leaking or needing plumbers tape. Nothing critical to add, but I only wish there was a size longer than 25, but shorter than 50. Just a little extra would be more convenient, but not a deal breaker. I’m very impressed and happy with this purchase. I’ve bought hoses before that I’ve thrown out because the material is lousy. Really like this one.

For about a year, I have been carrying two 50-foot hoses and one 10-foot hose in my motorhome for connecting to campground water supplies. I often found that the 10-foot hose would be too short, yet one of my 50-foot hoses would be much too long. I needed a good in-between length potable water hose that would coil easily but did not kink. This one fits my needs perfectly. My experience has shown that most campgrounds have the water outlet within 25-feet of the water connector on my coach, therefore this hose length is the one that I now use most often. The coiled metal strain reliefs at each end of the hose prevent the hose from pinching at the fittings. Compared with my other drinking water hoses, this one is made of thicker material, making it nearly impossible to kink accidentally. The thickness also causes the hose to resist being uncoiled when Im trying to straighten it in cold weather. Nonetheless, it easily coils back into a neat bundle for easy storage. Even when I dont use a water filter, this hose does not adversely affect the taste of the water that flows through it.

The hose fittings appear to be made of cheap “pot metal,” and are so thin and rounded off you can’t readily grasp them when tightening. Instead you must go get a wrench, which is rather inconvenient. The hose material seems ok, it’s just inferior hardware chosen by bean counters who ignore real users. If your application is a permanent installation, go for it, but the fittings are so thin you should not expect more than one season’s use before they corrode and fall apart. Camco, I expected more from you.

No issues out of box. No kinks. I have been on several outings now and the only mistake I have made was purchasing the 25 foot instead of the 50 foot hose. I just ordered the second hose.

Supposed to be a drinking water safe hose, but the city water had a terrible chemical odor and taste within 3-4 weeks in the Calif sun if the water has been in the hose for even an hour or so. And thats even with a brand new CAMCO water filter following the hose!! In order to get rid of the taste/odor, had to run the water for several minutes. In my opinion, if you can smell and taste chemicals, I dont believe its safe to drink that water! In the last several years that Ive been using various brands of drinking water hoses, most will last at least 6-12 months before leaving bad chem smell/taste. This one didnt last 4 weeks! Very dissatisfied and returned.

Good quality drinking water hose that leaves no taste in the water. This is my 3rd hose from Camco. I have the 50 foot hose and the 10 foot hose and now the 25 foot hose. You never know how far you will be from the water source at a campground. I like the larger diameter for the increased water flow. It is a little harder to roll up due to its thicker wall diameter but that also helps it from getting kinks in it or getting damaged when laying out on the gravel of a campsite. UPDATE 7/24/16 After using this hose multiple times it has gotten kinks in it as I roll it up. I have to fully unroll it and work on each of the kinks to get it straightened out. I have gone back to using the lighter weight white hose by Camco for daily travels. I still use the blue one at my seasonal campsite where it stays connected a month at a time. The white light weight one is better when you are traveling and connecting/disconnecting/rolling up on a daily basis.
