> 3 dayGood quality drinking water hose that leaves no taste in the water. This is my 3rd hose from Camco. I have the 50 foot hose and the 10 foot hose and now the 25 foot hose. You never know how far you will be from the water source at a campground. I like the larger diameter for the increased water flow. It is a little harder to roll up due to its thicker wall diameter but that also helps it from getting kinks in it or getting damaged when laying out on the gravel of a campsite. UPDATE 7/24/16 After using this hose multiple times it has gotten kinks in it as I roll it up. I have to fully unroll it and work on each of the kinks to get it straightened out. I have gone back to using the lighter weight white hose by Camco for daily travels. I still use the blue one at my seasonal campsite where it stays connected a month at a time. The white light weight one is better when you are traveling and connecting/disconnecting/rolling up on a daily basis.

Greater than one weekAttaching the female end to the spigot isnt easy and since this is an RV hose it will be need to be done many times. The collar is too smooth. Its almost round which makes the grip when turning very slippery.

> 3 dayokay i admit it. im in love with a water hose. i love the fact that every aspect of this hose is well thought out & intentional -- not someones afterthought or soul-less effort to add more confusion to the marketplace. this beautiful camco water hose is drinking water safe, the machined fittings do not wear or leak or leach lead into the water, its both light weight & strong, theres no residual plastic taste to the water, it doesnt kink after you lay it straight in the sun, the larger 5/8 diameter allows greater water volume, its inexpensive, and it comes in a beautiful royal blue. whats not to love? i mean, its like the perfect man -- uhm, except its a water hose.

> 3 dayI love the flavor and gave it five stars. And it holds 25 feet of water..so 5 stars for capacity. Really??? I read today that Amazon has hired a contractor to do their website. That looks like a bad decision. This is the second review I have done today that asked me to rate a quality totally unrelated to the item itself. I did not eat the hose and I do not use it for extra storage. The hose is good quality and I am pleased with it.

10-06-2025Good hose for filling water coolers for student-athletes to drink. Doesn’t leave a “hose” taste and with the materials it won’t start to break down or release rubber or discolor water when it ages. It is rather stiff and keeps a “memory” if left bent/folded. I keep it stored in 4-5 large loops. It also expands some when left under pressure so always release the pressure and turn the water off when not in use.

Greater than one weekI like that it did not leak at either end when connected. I did not like how stiff it is. Very difficult to unroll.

> 3 dayI used this hose to build my winter-camping (cold weather) freshwater supply hose. I followed the RVGEEKS video on how to use heat tape to keep your water supply from freezing up (also see my review of M-D Building Products 64444 30-Foot Pipe Heating Cable for some slight diversions from the RVGEEKS video). The cost of building my own winter hose includes the cost of this Camco hose, the heat tape, foil tape, plus good quality pipe insulation is probably on par with buying an already-built heated hose from Amazon or Camping World. Why did I do it? Because I have read too many bad reviews about the off-the-shelf heated hoses. Many people claim they didnt work and that the valves in the hoses popped off. So Im trying my own build. I saved a little money, and I enjoy these projects anyway. Hopefully my setup will prevent water freeze-ups for the rare times when Im camping in sub-freezing weather.

> 3 dayThis is beyond a doubt the best hose I have ever had. All other claim to be kink less, but usually they are not. This hose was not a problem getting it to unwind and it was easy to set up. Has more water pressure than other hoses I have used.

> 3 dayI’ve use this brand of hose for hooking up to drinking water while camping. I’ve had good wearability and no problems with them other than aging out after 25 years. I recommend them.

> 3 dayThe plastic part seems to be sturdy but its too tough to be able to roll and store it easily.
