Greater than one weekWaited a while to write this review to make sure it held up to our use and did not start adding odd flavors to water over time. Still looks new and adds no off flavors to our water at all. We had a cheaper white hose that added a lot of off flavors and was not safe to drink in my opinion.

> 3 dayLove this hose. I love to garden and was tired of buying hoses that leached plastic into the water and had the water taste like plastic. This hose is great and is food grade so no more leaching plastic in the water and the water tastes great right out of the hose. Hose is not heave and I can move it from the front yard to the back yard with ease. Highly recommend this hose

> 3 dayIt did kink at first a couple of times. But we left it in the sun to get it more malleable and that took care of the issue.

> 3 dayEvery hose Ive had in the past 10 years would send a foamy mixture out that was quite evident when squirting into a bucket or against a tree. The longer the hose is in the sun the longer it then takes to flush out all the foam. I am getting rid of all my hoses and replacing them with the Camco hose. I am passing this health information along to all I talk to about this issue. I will be purchasing more of these. Thank you for thinking of human and animal safety and the environment!

> 3 dayAnother nice upgrade for the RV. We have been using the white water hoses for years. Those last about one season and the ends deteriorate causing leaks or total failure. The last trip we went on we had a hose failure. I had an extra but decided to upgrade to this item. The quality is obvious at first glance. This hose weighs more and has much better ends than the white less expensive hose. Camco has good products for most any budget. I would recommend this product as upgrade to anyone who is an active RVer.

> 3 dayThis hose is of excellent quality and will last a lifetime, I believe. My only complaint is that the hose is so strong that it is rather stiff and difficult to roll up. I have just been using this for one season, however, so perhaps it will become a bit more flexible over time. I prefer the stiffness issue to the problems I have had with lesser hoses, however, including kinking and mildew/mold. This hose appears to stay cleaner because of the impervious nature of the outer material. A fine product.

> 3 dayThis hose never kinks. Heavy duty hose. Better than those cheap white hoses. A lot of people at our marina ask me where I got it. Told them amazon. Worth the money

Greater than one weekI use this for an RV, and it lasted a couple of seasons (light usage). But one day it split in the middle and luckily a neighboring RVer saw the flooding and turned off the water. I have no idea why it split, so cant rate it as highly as I would have. But I did get another one for replacement, so Im giving it another chance.

> 3 dayI used this hose to build my winter-camping (cold weather) freshwater supply hose. I followed the RVGEEKS video on how to use heat tape to keep your water supply from freezing up (also see my review of M-D Building Products 64444 30-Foot Pipe Heating Cable for some slight diversions from the RVGEEKS video). The cost of building my own winter hose includes the cost of this Camco hose, the heat tape, foil tape, plus good quality pipe insulation is probably on par with buying an already-built heated hose from Amazon or Camping World. Why did I do it? Because I have read too many bad reviews about the off-the-shelf heated hoses. Many people claim they didnt work and that the valves in the hoses popped off. So Im trying my own build. I saved a little money, and I enjoy these projects anyway. Hopefully my setup will prevent water freeze-ups for the rare times when Im camping in sub-freezing weather.
