Canon MP480 All-in-One Photo Printer

Its easy to use. Gives great color for documents and photos. More than adequate for home use. Ink use is OK but Ive had other models that use less ink with just as good color.,

easy set up, easy use- scans, copies and prints pretty well. Not bad at all for the price. It does use a fair amount of ink but thats about par for the course for an inkjet.

A bit noisy and ink is expensive... But it does work ok.... Rob...

I had to replace the printer head after one month. I had the identical printer for 6 years and never encountered this problem.

Received this printer with the I-Mac. We like the features e.g., copy & scan. However, as noted in other reviews, this printer eats up the ink. If we were printing more B & W, I definitely would consider a laser printer.

I have had this printer for several years. I am amazed how long it lasts without giving problems. Just recently, the only difficulty is that is not compatible with Windows 10. So, in other words, my all-in-one Canon worked fine until... the arrival of Windows 10. Anyway, it seems that there is a solution and I am going to find out tomorrow from Canons technical support. If I get a solution I will edit my post to share the solution. I just wanted to finally write a well deserved good review for this good product.

We bought this to replace an HP all-in-one that was awful. This Canon printer is awesome--fast printing, great quality, and we dont have to feed the paper in one page at a time! Weve been using it for a few weeks now, have printed photos and text and used the copier, and have no complaints whatsoever. Couldnt be happier with this printer.

The Canon PIXMA MP 480 printer/scanner is all that I expected and more. It copies beautifully. And for such a good price. I like it. Bob

I see that we have owned this since early March, 2009, nearly six years. We sell online and do a lot of printing. This printer has served us well. We actually own another. its a good thing... I had an error message just now. The Ink absorber is full. Who knew? I have researched the steps. It is kind of a dirty job. And the counter must be reset. The information is freely available online. The new part is only available from Canon. Here on Amazon they sell six models. I was unable to determine which one is for this machine. We will switch them out.

The printer is good for what I need but it has a couple small issues. The display screen will not open all the way. Additionally, the paper feed is intermittent and registers no paper when there is actually paper. All and all for the price, it will suit my needs fine. I have experience with Canon printers so I can trouble shoot these issues when they arise.
