> 3 dayI dont think I have ever written a negative review in my life, but for this product I will make an exception. The printer never realizes when it has paper in it and if it does it often jams. I see that this is a common problem from other reviews. Also the scanner would not work on the first one so we returned it but the scanner does not work on the new one either. The most frustrating part is the paper feeder which takes about 10-20 tries of reloading the paper to get it to work. Save yourself the time and hassle of this machine and you will add a few years of free time to your life.

Greater than one weekThis printer was easy to install and works great. It has a very nice set of options and it is extremely easy to use. The printer was delivered in the time frame provided. Overall, I am very satisfied with my new printer. The only minor drawback is the size...a little bit bigger than I expected.

> 3 dayThis printer was very reasonably priced. It is more than I had hoped for. I am able to print out 4 x 6 inch pictures, which is the main reason I bought it. I have a laser printer for most of my other needs. But this also makes copies, like a miniature xerox copier, which is extremely handy. It also acts as a regular printer. It was a great investment for me. The quality of the pictures I print out is high quality. The cartridges are pretty expensive, but even though I use this printer often, the cartridges last close to a year, so in the long run, I guess the cost of the cartridges isnt so bad.

> 3 dayAfter my wife went through two HP All-in-One printers, I turned to the Canon MP480. We are glad I did. The unit seems to be much better made and is certainly more durable. The ease of use and print quality has a wow factor and Canon is known for the quality of its photos. If you have stuck with HP over the years like me, this Canon is worth considering.

> 3 dayThis is a compact all-in-one printer (about the length and width of a laptop). The software and flip up screen are very easy to use and the color quality of the copier is excellent. It also has a quiet mode for printing after dark. It uses a large deal of ink, but so do all of the Canon inkjet printers. Overall, a good value, but they forgot one thing. There is no auto power-on/off setting, so you either have to leave the printer on all the time or turn it on every time you wish to use it.

> 3 dayReceived the printer on time. Set up was easy and compatable with Windows Vista. The printer itself is slow starting on B&W & color copies.Scanning a item or picture is a little more challenging. The software could be more computer friendly for seniors. Overall very happy with printer and Amazon. Will continue to shop regularly....

> 3 dayI have had this printer for several years. I am amazed how long it lasts without giving problems. Just recently, the only difficulty is that is not compatible with Windows 10. So, in other words, my all-in-one Canon worked fine until... the arrival of Windows 10. Anyway, it seems that there is a solution and I am going to find out tomorrow from Canons technical support. If I get a solution I will edit my post to share the solution. I just wanted to finally write a well deserved good review for this good product.

04-06-2025Im not kidding! This is the best little printer Ive ever seen. I previously owned a Dell. It was several years old, and the print jobs were just not up to par anymore. I ordered this one, and when I printed the first pictures, I couldnt believe it. I wish I had ordered it sooner.

> 3 dayOverall, this is an incredible piece of technology for the price. Its an excellent scanner, and a *generally* very high quality printer and copier. The interface is adequate, if not incredibly convenient, and the ability to read directly from a variety of cards is very useful. There is only one weakness of this printer, and that is the fact that photographs can tend to streak towards the end of the print. This is pretty common with ink jet printers, and unfortunately this one is no different. Its only apparent in photographs with large areas of the same tone, and it doesnt always happen--its a function of random partial clogging of the jets--but you should be aware that youre not going to get the kind of quality out of this that youll get from having photos printed professionally. (In fact, its usually cheaper to do so.) However, for the occasionally instant gratification photo printing, you cant beat this printer and the price.
