Shes my first printer so I did my home work on this one. Very happy with Amazon and loved the FREE shipping! I highly recommend this if your looking desktop printer in this price range. > 3 dayI purchased this printer two weeks ago to replace an unsatisfactory Kodak printer. The MP480 has a fairly small footprint, and it handles paper quite well. As for printing? Excellent. Even on the cheap (20#) all-purpose paper I use much of the time, colors are bright and clear, and so are the images. It will make you wonder whether all is well as it grumbles to itself while it prepares to print, but its fine, and you can turn down the noise for color printing. Its too early to tell whether it uses a great deal of ink, but even so, its a dependable, highly competent printer for the price.

> 3 dayI see that we have owned this since early March, 2009, nearly six years. We sell online and do a lot of printing. This printer has served us well. We actually own another. its a good thing... I had an error message just now. The Ink absorber is full. Who knew? I have researched the steps. It is kind of a dirty job. And the counter must be reset. The information is freely available online. The new part is only available from Canon. Here on Amazon they sell six models. I was unable to determine which one is for this machine. For a little sponge thing?? > 3 dayabsolute piece of sh*t. paper constantly jammed, shredded or pulled in sideways. now it wont print at all. error message says paper is jammed but there is no paper or any other foreign matter inside it. complete waste of money.

> 3 dayThis used printer came in good condition which was a wonder considering the box looked like it had been handled by a gorilla. The printer is working OK..... but, the problem is it came without the user guide and from China. The shipper knew it was going to America and it would have been nice if they had put it in to the English language. We have not tried real hard to put it in to English and Im sure that we will be able to do that. Just keep in mind that this can happen when your product is coming from a country other than America. Other than that one little problem, we are happy with our purchase. Thxs.
