> 3 dayThe Canon PIXMA MP 480 printer/scanner is all that I expected and more. It copies beautifully. And for such a good price. I like it. Bob

> 3 dayI like the printer, but we aware that replacement ink is quite expensive - about $50 for both. They cannot be refilled and Ive found no generic replacement available.

> 3 dayI owned Lexmark Pinter about 4 of them and 3 HP. I like this one the best, even it was less expensive than my other printer. Reason: I never had a printer in which the Ink lasted 3X as long as Lexmark, the other printer nickel and dimes you to dead over the ink to expensive and does not last. Cannon ist excellent

> 3 dayA great product at a great price. Canons service was exceptional when the first machine was a dud; they sent another right away. The second machine works fine. Ive heard this from another MP480 customer. All is well with both purchases.

> 3 dayI owned the canon mp240 and it broke but I had a ton of ink left so I decided to get the 480. Ive only used it a handful of times but it works great. I thought for the price, you cant beat it.

> 3 dayFor the money, this is a dandy home printer for the non demanding. It gets the job done. Ive tried printing 8x10 pictures, and I saw about what I expected. If I want higher quality pictures printed, I need to spend more money, end of story there. But for basics, its just fine. Use the larger cartridges though. It is a tad thirsty, but not unreasonably so. UPDATE 10-02-2012: This printer/scanner still works flawlessly. Its a little slow but, it has NEVER let me down.

> 3 dayThis is a compact all-in-one printer (about the length and width of a laptop). The software and flip up screen are very easy to use and the color quality of the copier is excellent. It also has a quiet mode for printing after dark. It uses a large deal of ink, but so do all of the Canon inkjet printers. Overall, a good value, but they forgot one thing. There is no auto power-on/off setting, so you either have to leave the printer on all the time or turn it on every time you wish to use it.

18-11-2024The printer itself is decent. Its relatively attractive and easy to use. The quality of copies and photos is fine. Its noisier and slower than Id prefer, but I can live with that. What I cant live with is a printer that goes through ink so fast that I surpassed the cost of the printer after the third ink refill, and I buy the XL size refills! I find myself being extremely judicious about printing anything to try and conserve the short life of these cartridges. Dont buy it. No printer is worth this much inconvenience or money.
