I have been using this type of sketchbook for about 6 years, and I love it. It has some moment with a few types of media that aren’t 100%, but other than that, it’s a nice sketchbook! The one thing that gets annoying is that if you don’t take care of the spiral bound part, it WILL get messed up. But that is something that is bound to happen to any sketchbook like that! Overall, it’s a good sketchbook to become friends with.

Now, it could be cause cause I purchased my first one at Walmart in 2020 and they could have changed it up a bit. The quality of the paper seems to be the same, if only a little but thinner (just by touching it). The paper also seems more blue-ish white that my old one which is yellow-ish white, but it could be cause it’s old. And then the cardboard back it’s a couple millimeters smaller, but still sturdy. If I find this sketchbook in stores again I will compare it then. Either way I will be keeping it since it was cheaper than a craft store.

Hm, do I want to paint? Draw? Stipple? Whatever I decide, I can use this sketchbook for it. The paper is exceptionally high-quality, and the value for the price is fantastic.

Daughter loves using this with her watercolors. It stands up to the water very well.

The paper is great but the markers bleed through the paper sometimes. Good size, big enough that you can draw properly but not big enough to be exhausted by the thought of filling the page. Will buy again when my current run out.

Pages are nice and thick, making this a truly mixed media book. I will be using this for projects ranging from pencil drawings to pastels and watercolor, so I was worried pages would be too thin. Definitely recommend.

Perfect left bound sketchbook that can easily be throw in a backpack or large bag.
