> 24 hourPaper is very thick, and since its cold-pressed its not overly textured. I will say that the smooth side is too slick to really be useful with any wet mediums, but it tries its best to stick with the plan as long as you wait between layerings to dry. I actually purchased this paper so that I could bind it into a smaller, more portable sketchbook and figured that the extra paper in the larger size would be great to fully flesh out more detailed ideas. Because the paper is so unexpectedly thick (Id say about as thick as four sheets of standard printer paper) it was difficult to bend and cut, but it certainly all worked out in the end.

> 24 hourI am very pleased with the quality and the pricing of this lovely and very well-made watercolor paper. The soft, off white tint is very pleasing. The texture is a pleasure to work with. It handles water well and will flatten after drying under some weight without leaving warps or buckling. It erases nicely without loosing surface composition. I tested the outcome against several much more expensive papers I had on hand. I was surprised to find that this $5.97 packet of 30 9 x 12 pieces performed the best. Even for beginners, it makes such a difference in the outcome to work with the proper materials. This Canson XL series is now a stock up item for me.

> 24 hourThis paper is always a good pick and at this price point its a great deal too. I like this paper for its durability as it stands up to all my watercoloring including washes. I also like the easy way it just pulls right out of the pad without any tears or funny ripples. The slight texture is just enough to pull against my brush leaving tiny details without making too deep of ridges and rivets along my strokes. Affordable and dependable!

> 24 hourI like it. It is certainly more than adequate. I use it mostly for my plein air watercolor sketches and all is good. Cant beat the price. Better than student grade paper. Clear white, I got cold press and it has a very fine grain on both sides. I would definitely purchase it again. doesnt bleed through, holds water nicely for doing wet into wet. Takes pencil nicely and erases well when very dry.

> 24 hourThis is a steal for the price & quantity of pages. It’s not the best watercolor paper but it’s awesome for the price and it’s very thick.

> 24 hourThis was the first time I tried this and it worked out great! I made Christmas cards on my embroidery machine and the pattern suggested watercolor paper. I know nothing about watercolor paper but this had the best ratings so I went with it and it turned out great. I am very happy with my cards and cannot wait to send them out! I also made a birthday and anniversary card.

> 24 hourI purchased this as a gift. I thought the value for price was great. I compared several different art pads and this brand had options that were less expensive and seemed more reasonable for casual art use. When it arrived it felt sturdy and of good quality. As it was a gift, I didn’t use it, so cannot speak to that.

> 24 hourGreat paper for a beginner or intermediate watercolorist! Can’t beat the price. I’ve been doing watercolor for 10 years, and teach several watercolor classes. This is the paper I use for my students and they love it!
