> 3 dayMy wife is an artist and needed some new watercolor paper that wouldnt break the bank. This pad is the best bang for the buck I could find at this size. Similar high quality pads were almost twice the price and/or included significantly less pages. Were not planning on using them to paint the Mona Lisa, so they were exactly the value and quality we were looking for. I was impressed by the weight of the paper. They shipped packed tightly so there were no issues with bent corners or crimped edges.

> 3 dayFirst let me say Ive been an artist 30+ years. I do every kind of painting and now papercrafting. This is a basic paper BUT if you diecut paper for say scrapbooking or card making this paper is twice as thick and half the price of thin 65 pound cardstock that runs $12-15 for 25 sheets so this is a great alternative!! We buy several pads and cut things out for elementary age kids and they paint them at school, make keepsake ornaments etc. It holds up far better than construction paper!! I draw or stamp on it and use watercolor pencils to color in my creations, this paper is perfect for that. Another famous brand sells 4 x 5 inch sheets at 10 times the cost for the same thing! I am stocking up, and my 7 and 9 year old LOVE to paint. $5 a month to keep 2 kids busy is a bargain. I highly suggest using Inktense pencils on this paper, SUPER vibrant. We go through a pad a month easy.

> 3 dayA terrific paper at a reasonable price. Absolutely perfect for practice or finished artworks. Gives me the freedom to paint with abandon. Works just fine for my type of watercolor that doesnt use heavy washes. I have done edge to edge watercolor painting with the paper and it held up just fine. I love it so much I opted for a subscription to keep me painting whenever I want. It is cold press with some texture - I normally prefer hot press but the texture in this isnt overboard.

> 3 dayBought this paper for water color pencils and it held up well. No puffing or wobbly paper other than a curve the paper gets. Otherwise its really good. I have always loved this brand and the size is perfect for traveling and storing easily.

> 3 dayThe paper is very thick and it great quality for the cheap price. I have only used a little of it because I’m water coloring small things, but when I run out I am definitely going to buy this again. -Grace M

Greater than one weekWow! This is very heavy, good quality paper.i got it to play with since I haven’t done watercolors since jr. high. It is so nice I feel like I’m wasting it and that is a shame. I will definitely buy it again!

> 3 dayMy biggest beef with most sketchbooks at this point, is size. If you get one that has perforated lines (like this one), so the pages can be removed easily, why on earth is the size of the page you are left with 7x10? Have you ever tried to find a 7x10 matte for framing? If you try to frame your piece of art in a standard 8x10 frame, you are left with a half inch on either side of empty space that you have to do something with. Kind of annoying to be honest. Truly wish that the page size AFTER removing it from the book was 8x10. That being said, the paper itself is pretty good quality especially for beginning artists. While it does warp when quite a bit of water is applied, its stiff enough that you can gently shape/bend it back to fairly flat.

Greater than one weekFor a beginner like me, this is perfect: there’s a lot of paper at a reasonable price. But this paper dries so fast it’s hard to blend colors and results in weird blots when the colors dry.

> 3 dayIt’s alright for starting out but the paper dries super quick and tends to pill up a bit if you try to do any bleeds which can be annoying if that’s your style. If you’re going to pay for good paper you may as well shell out the extra $10 and buy 100% cotton paper which has much better absorbency and stays wet longer so it’s easier to do different techniques without rushing yourself
