Great paper, however pad of paper arrived separated from the cover and the paper was bent on one side

Originally purchased from a craft store for an art project. I was looking for a paper of decent weight and good price (not specifically for watercolors). After using up that pad I went to another craft store and they had another brand for cheaper (same weight). Yuck. Too lazy to go back to the first craft store I checked Amazon, and there it was, the good stuff. Very happy.

I have made several water color pictures with this book so far. The paper is thick and it absorbs color well. Good size book.

Great for beginners. Does go through to back of paper, but not onto the next page. My daughter uses with brush pens/water color pens. Would recommend and would buy again.

I use this paper for a w/c workshop that I lead. It is a good paper for beginners and for studies, etc. I have no complaint.

There is only one way to get good at watercolor -- do lots of watercolors. At least thats what my art professor told me back in the 80s. He said we should throw away our first 100 watercolors. The class was appalled! I never did it. Im finally taking his advice. I have a couple of these pads, some good brushes and some OK watercolors. Ive done about 20 watercolors so far. At this price, I wont hesitate to throw any away. Or all of them! But, if I get one I like, the quality is good enough to put it on the wall.

I ordered the 11x15 paper and got the 9x12. The larger one costs more so Im upset. :( I will use the smaller pad for my students. Its too much of a hassle to return it. I would like Amazon credit or the dollar amount difference refunded on my credit card. The paper is fantastic for the price. Great for learning on (:

Have been using this since it first came out. It works for multi media as well as pencils and oil pastels.
